Who the hell was he emailing about where the gun was dropped and the likes?

Was he talking to himself, eg. setting up an insanity defense?

Pretty sure they said the convo on discord said an individual told him he’d provide the gun and where to find it and where to hide it.

Yeah, the way it was worded was very confusing... that he was emailing someone "Thomas".

Think maybe was just badly worded explanation

I think what the OP is saying, is that there is a distinct possibility his friends or inner circle knew of the plot, maybe even encouraged it in some way.

Refusing to say something or turn him in could make them complicit/accessories. Certainly support searching his communications to find out who knew about it, and said nothing. Or worse.

I don’t see how you can draw that conclusion.

Didn't the Governor say he requested the gun from someone on Discord and asked them to make the drop? That would be the only outside connection I could see.

That’s not what I heard. I heard him say that Tyler messaged his roommate describing where he left the gun and that it was in the towel, asking the roomie to go get it for him.

I'd have a fake mustache, wig, gloves, and asap I'd shave my head.
This guy must've known there'd be cameras all over and that fingerprints would be found.

Would've dug a hole in the woods to hide the gun afterwards.
I don't think he had any help.

Which I think goes to show either (A) how little forethought these bozos put into this. It's all childish emotional responses, and/or (B) they want to be caught to become some sort of "hero" to their likeminded peers.

video clearly shows him jumping off the roof without a weapon

At minimum, this isn't clear. And, I think you may have it absolutely wrong.

I’d like to think that but we know JFK wasnt just shot by Lee Harvey Oswald and Trump wasnt just shot by that retarded sloth.

Did he attend UVU? No. How did he know that vantage point was available? He just google earth scouted it? No way.

How did he know how to access it? Did he scout that site? If so, no one seen him access the roof prior? 200 yards from a 4th story roof at what seemed to be about a 30 deg angle is easily within periphery for security. He was wearing black on a beige roof.

Sure seems like the people who at least attempt these executions don't really have the desire to get away with their crime. A good disguise would have made this near impossible.

I suppose it is possible he planned to commit suicide after and just got cold feet when it came to that.

Yeah it looked like he was wearing his favorite hat and sunglasses and shoes.

Here’s a screenshot I took from the FBI video on YouTube. That certainly looks like a rifle he’s putting down as he climbs off the roof.

Everyone needs to go back and watch the press conference and it will answer a lot of your questions. He was messaging his roommate on Discord either before or after about the gun.

The claim was that he was trying to get the roommate involved...and that it didn't work out. I hadn't heard what was requested of the roommate...and what the roommate did to rebuff the request.

Can you elaborate?

Are we sure about this part?

If so, what the roommate did at that point is pretty important.

Not completely. I don’t know how discord works; it could hav been a message to someone else that the roomie could see. I do know that no one got the gun because the police found it exactly as described in the messages about where and how it was left

I may have misinterpreted the gun drop as a part of the planning almost as if he was soliciting someone for the weapon. Now that I reread that part he could have gone on discord yesterday asking someone to go pick up the gun.
