Some voters ARE being suppressed in GA

Every election season some Proggies frick it up.
Imagine trusting a group to register you to vote, only to find out that they ‘forgot’ to hand in your registration and the registrations of countless others … honestly, we just feel really sorry for these voters.
students at Mercer University will not be able to vote in Georgia after a civil rights organization did not register them.
Bronwyn James and Julia Swain are two students from Mercer’s Townsend School of Music. They and other music performance students registered to vote with an organization that was canvassing outside of ZBeans Coffee back in September.
“A group of us got together to register at the stand, then a few weeks later, we went to the polling station to vote, and the registration volunteers let us know that we weren’t in the system,” Swain said.
The group of students had registered with Asian Americans Advancing Justice-Atlanta, a civil rights advocacy group. The organization was supposed to deliver the applications to the Secretary of State’s office, but several students’ applications never made it. LINK

I wonder if that is due to incompetence of the canvassing group or if they were selectively submitting the applications (i.e., allowing democrats to register, but tossing the republican applications in the shredder)

Any bets that it was just the R’s that didn’t get turned in?

If a person puts their affairs in the hands of others than I don't feel bad for them. It really is not hard to register to vote and again if you don't take a few minutes to register to vote where you live and get a voter registration card than that is a you problem.

You have to be a special level of stupid to not be able to register yourself to vote.
If you can't do it yourself, you should not be able to vote.
If you can't do it yourself, you should not be able to vote.

Nothing but truth here.

Rules are a bitch, especially when your own team doesn't live up to them.

My college age child registered to vote using a cell phone on an official county/state site in Georgia and was done in less than 5 minutes. Voter card showed up in the mail a few weeks later. It’s not that hard. Take personal responsibility.

Guess they figured they could ask for an extension.
