RPC Average for Cruz vs Beto was Cruz +6.8. Cruz ended up winning by 2.6. That was 2018.
2024 TX Senate race, RPC average was Cruz 4.7 vs Allred & Brown combined. Cruz won by 8.5 over Allred and by 6.1 over Allred and Brown combined.
2024 Presidential Election, RPC average had Harris +0.1. Result was Trump +1.5.
RPC did have Trump winning EC, but only 287 to 251. They had Harris +0.4 in Wisconsin and +0.5 in Michigan. Trump won those.
So right now, especially this early in the race, if they have Talarico up by 1.5, it’s probably more like Paxton is up by 1.5. Still too close for comfort.

They did the same thing with the Florida governors race . Donald’s opponents were constantly in the single digits so he could say no body is in double digits so no reason to debate . But Collins had 25% of the vote.

Dems need the polls to be as skewed in their favor as possible so that when they do win elections by cheating, they can point at the polling to back them. That is all this is.

Agreed, it's a strategy that the D's, media, and swamp use to try and demoralize their opponents. Every early poll out there always favors the D's against the R's.

I think there is a significant number of conservatives that answer polls the opposite of how they intend to vote. I know I do.

If the next GOP nominee would tell his supporters to lie to pollsters that would render them useless. Then they can fe fricked with and destroyed forever.

Re SAVE ACT
When the president can't get his own party to pass "the most important piece of legislation facing the country" he should let it go and come back wirh something passable.
The fact he keeps harping on it over and over without using his dealmaking skills is more of what I'm refering to as a political failure.
How would you refer to it?
For reference, if Obama didn't get Obamacare passed, I also would have considered it a failure on his part.

4. Lower prices or at least curb inflation… fail.
5. Lower cost of housing …. Fail
These two lay at the Democrats feet. You don't flood the country with millions of illegals intentionally and then pay people with government money to house them for free and give them free government benefits, and not expect economic fallout.

I 100% agree with you immigration causes the price of housing to rise. But those who are capable of this kind of two step cause and effect thinking are already voting Republican. Swing voters will say “My rent went up, Trump is President, so I’m voting for the other party.”
The 10% of people who swing elections are not bright and very uninformed.
