I blame the media even more than I blame the govt.

The most effective marketing message claimed that Covid-19 vaccines had an ability they never actually had: reducing or stopping transmission.
Everyone from Joe Biden, Hollywood actors, the crones on The View to Rachel Maddow would smugly recite that line, over and over. And if anyone dares ask questions?
"Science denier!"
"Grandma killer!"
"Unclean!!"

The article discusses in detail how our media has completely moved on from the covid era and effectively wants everyone to forget all that happened, even though various recent studies are showing how much of what was done caused harm, especially the lockdowns.

It all caused a lot of harm. The resulting distrust of the once highly regarded "medical community" is a big one.
One thing my eyes were opened to is how ANYONE can be paid to say anything. Not a bad thing to be aware of.

That messaging is standard public health messaging for any vaccine given what vaccines do (& though this vaccine doesn't stop transmission, it reduces it, so this is no bombshell, though you would expect Brownstone to try to sell it as scandalous).

Found the down voter. You missed the point of the entire thread. Anyone who lived through covid and will defend it is part of the problem.

What's your objection?

I'll respond to you original message - no objection to the OP. It supports my point. We were all lied to. What's your objection to the OP? Think we were being told truth?

it was the greatest, worldwide scam on humanity since "Global Warming"

We were marketed a best-case scenario that was not appropriately hedged based on the likelihood of antigenic drift and subsequent decline in effectiveness of the vaccine.
But it's silly to find fault for public health officials and vaccine developers for researching how to get people to take their vaccines. Vaccines save lives and saved millions in this case.
and people act like it's a scandal.

It was coercion.
I'm sure you read each and every one of those "Insights" as they were meant for people like you and those in the public messaging sphere.
It took legitimate concerns people had and wargamed how to gaslight people, apply pressure, coerce and all but force.
This wasn't a simple campaign to boost uptake...

It is and your answer sounds like something Chat GPT would say. Common sense during the entire episode would have told you different.
"We're not seeing what we're seeing" right?

appreciate the chatGPT compliment.
This is innocuous. Here's a little satire with another safety product to illustrate. I'll use the same messaging.
Fire Extinguishers
SHOCKING DISCOVERY: Messaging Was Researched
“You don’t buy a fire extinguisher just for yourself - you buy it to protect your family and neighbors.”
What few people know is that fire safety experts tested this message in advance. They found that framing fire extinguishers as protecting loved ones increased compliance.
In other words, the entire tone of fire safety campaigns became “Save your family.”
From that point on, buildings were required to have them.
There’s just one problem with that message - Fire extinguishers don’t prevent all fires. Sometimes the fire still spreads!
GASP!

I honestly can't believe someone would be defending getting the Covid shot at this point. You're in denial of reality if you think that "millions were saved". JFC
And how shameless you are to take credit for something a BOT wrote.

Do you actually want to go through the research or are you gonna keep up this silliness about bots?
