is it really that much inconvience for you to wear a mask?

There is that argument so many are trying to hide behind. At some point, you have to look out for yourself and your family and not rely on others.

Maybe we just have a difference of opinion. I would probably be more open to these covid rules if they weren't so overtly exploited for political gain.

Let's look at this from a logical and reasoned thought process.

1) Masks logically will help reduce the spread of an airborne virus that is transmitted through respiration droplets. This is common sense. The overall amount of protection/helps it offers can be debated, but it assuredly helps in a significant way.

2) Mask Mandates shouldn't NEED to be required in a logical and intelligent society. Unfortunately, we do not live in one of those. We live in a society of two extremes right now with a bulk of the people in the middle. Some Baws will refuse to wear the masks out of some idiotic principle of "freedom", while others will act like mask Nazis screaming at anyone not wearing them.

In the end, it is best for people to wear masks when in close contact with those they do not live with, simple, with the exception of those with health issues that masks exacerbate. No one should be forced to wear a mask outside or in public areas.

Businesses should have the right to require dress they feel is in the best interest of them, their employees and customers. If you're a Baw and a place requires masks, don't start bitching and moaning about your rights. They are a private business, and if you don't want to follow their rules, go somewhere else.

The hypocritical thinking with all of this by conservatives is honestly what amazes me and I am a centrist. You want businesses to let you do as you please, and be forced to serve you on your terms, but attack the idiots on the left forcing a baker to make a cake of something he is against.

In the end, you can't have it both ways, and I know the Democrats try to do that all the time, and it is why I hate them too.

Then keep Granny at home, and wear a mask when you're around her.

It's that fricking simple.

I told a liberal FB friend today, "keep your mask on, keep practicing social distancing, stay home if you choose.

Let me choose what's right for me. My body, my choice"

not really. They are protected slightly more by wearing one but they are more protected if you wear one. Do you really not know how the masks work after all this time?

And what are your thoughts on reopening the border spigot?? In a TERRRRRRIBLE and DAAAAANNNGEROUS pandemic?

Absorb that and then tell me why I should mask up and socially distance when we are again packing illegal aliens in “cages”. Why I should be worried with more illegals being bused around the country?

Do you really not see democrat hypocrisy after all this time? Sit down and think why you do not know these things. Ask yourself questions as to why you are told one thing and the government does another. Open your mind.

We need to follow the science.

This phrase has become tiresome. What about scientists who say masks don't work? Should we only listen to government scientists? I'm truly getting sick of these pantywaists. Democrats will never again be able to accuse Republicans of fearmongering.

Plus since it helps slow down the spread of the virus, it makes it less likey she will get the virus.

There is "science" that say this is bullpoop and simply not true, but Big Tech, et al, are making sure it's not effectively disseminated.
