TRUMP beat Hillary by about 120,000 votes in 2016.

Following Hurricane Maria, around 250,000 Puerto Ricans have come to Florida, and that is a conservative number. They are under no obligation to go back - they’re US Citizens, and they can vote in US elections once they’re on the mainland.

This is really, really bad. I’m melting. We may have lost Florida forever.

Between that and the major gun backlash, the liberal crowd will be strong.

The only saving grace are the retirees living in The Villages.

Ummm....florida has been undergoing massive demographic change since the 90s, has gotten way more hispanic. Yet the state TRENDED R in 2016.

Trump won by 119,500 more votes than W in 2000.

The Villages keep growing with Northerners moving in. Most are Republicans.

Its almost inevitable. Trump is our last hope. We have reached the tipping point with more leeches than producers.

This is exactly why the democrats were acting like Peurto Rico was all Trump’s fault and he’s a monster for how he ignored them. They have to keep them mad so they vote D

Forever is a long time. In 50 years, when Spanish is the national language, there will be many conservative Hispanics in Florida.

Blacks however will still be voting 95% Dem.

After this latest massacre and knowing the GOP is not even going to try to do anything about it, I think you're right.

Yeah because W only won by a couple hanging chads in 2000.

I'll ask again: what would have prevented this shooting?

When people hate freedom and don’t want the most at risk among us to be able to protect themselves this nation will no longer be great.

Think long term. Hispanic immigrants are hardworking, family-oriented and Christian. In a generation or so they will be solidly conservative. How many Hispanic women do you know that support partial-birth abortion, one of the Democrats’ preferred birth control methods?

It would be interesting to see second and third generation Hispanic voting trends. I'd wager a lot in Texas vote Republican.

Well, the Democrats were in charge when a Muslim killed 49 and injured 58 of your potential sex partners in Orlando and they did not do anything then either.

most of you still dont grasp how unpopular hillary is among the left. a lot of us hate her as much as you do. thats why she got her arse handed to her the first time she ran, and then had to have the DNC intervene when the same thing was happening the second time.

anything trump did vs her is borderline irrelevant.

I spent a couple weeks in P.R. after the storm. People blamed the governor a heck of a lot more than they blamed Trump. I wouldn’t worry about it.

No they weren't. republicans had control of both the House and Senate.
