"White Supremacists " as people commonly understand them (KKK, Neo-Nazi's, etc) dont exist in large numbers these days and weild very little if any political or cultural power.
However, what these BLM, Critial Social Justice, intersectional types mean when they say "white supremacists " is anyone who defends or benefits or even doesn't actively work against any system or institution or practice that results in any disparities between "whites" and "blacks". Those are in quotas because the race doesn't actually matter. This doesn't just include things like red-lining or police brutality or over charging, but basic concepts like individuality, due-process, the rule of law, and science.

Who said they ever existed in large numbers?
Been here for a while now, never met or heard of anyone that is a KKK member. Seriously doubt I know anyone that knows any.

Even in their hay-day, in this country, I don't think the KKK ever had very large numbers. However, they were at least a more culturally accepted group and had some power. Even real Nazi's only made up a small percentage of Nazi Germany, but they had tremendous power. A small percentage of people can still be very powerful, but these overt white supremacist groups simply don't at this point.
I've met people who were supposedly in the KKK in the 60's and 70's but had since renounced it. My mom's side actually has some pretty crazy stories and somewhat silly stories of "getting into it" with the KKK even though we're all white and come from a very small town in Louisiana. They've always been a joke to us.

The weird thing is, I must not be a very good white supremacist because they're still a lot of black/hispanic/asian people that I really enjoy the company of.

I lived in Santa Fe, Texas from 1979-1981. I can attest that the Klan was active during that time because my Little League Baseball team had to cancel practice due to our ballfield being used for a KKK Rally.
But, the Rally didn't have anything to do with Black folks. It was a rally against Vietnamese Shrimpers.
