More of an effort to secure and produce PPE would have been a big help

Very little was done at all by the federal government

Didn’t Hannity basically ask him that last night? His answer was incoherent. Tough look when you can’t even answer what you hope to accomplish in a 2nd term.

Medical staff

It was certainly an issue earlier on, not so much now.
Why was it an issue?

You're asking me to tell you why inadequate PPE for medical staff is an issue?

Is that what you've reduced yourself to?

His incompetence and poor messaging certainly hasn't helped the situation.

And you know this how? Is Fauci your daddy?

Seriously, how do you know this?

ETA: List what he did wrong and what you would have done to improve each situation.

Or you could avoid the question which will speak volumes on your character.

Because in the US, especially to the younger crowd, when something bad happens it's always somebody's fault. They know it's somebody's fault, so they have to assign blame.

We can probably thank the ambulance chasers, at least partially.

Don’t medical staff have a lower infection rate than the rest of the population?

Are you sure PPE for medical staff early on is why this thing is such a shite show?

What Trump could run on is deregulation, the pre-covid economic boom, bringing back manufacturing jobs, ending the Syrian civil war, the Iraq War, and the War in afghanistan, etc.

What he will run on is the culture war. He will frame BLM, cancel culture, the media, the establishment republicans, democrats, the tech industry, etc as all being involved in trying to destroy American symbols, values, laws, and history, and that the only one fighting for those things is Donald Trump.

I didn’t vote for Trump in 2016 because I didn’t think he was genuine. He nearly won me over with that Hillary “you’d be in jail” mic drop. He won me over in 17-19 with his actions. Those actions seemed to disappear in 2020. I disagree with Trump often on issues of both substance and optics, but I supported and defended him the past few years because he was a fighter who was one of the few fighting for at least some of what I believe necessary against those who I believe seek to destroy this country and everything good it has ever made.

If Donald doesn’t start fighting again with real noticeable action, I’m going back to the L party. Lock people up and don’t be subtle about it. Stop campaigning to be “against” something and start talking about what you’re “for”. You were “America First” now show us what that policy would translate to in your next term. Trump is letting the dems over play their hand, but in doing so, he’s looking weak, gutless, and ineffective. He needs to reassert himself as a decisive brawler going to fight for what is left of this country and dismantling the forces seeking to bury it.

Right now, the people whose heads I’d like to see decorating pikes all hate his guts, but they’re not in prison where they belong. The President has all the power he needs over DOJ to make it happen, so DO IT!!!

People claim democrats have an advantage because they don’t have to worry about optics. The reality is the opposite. Republicans don’t have to worry about optics because no matter what they do, the media will paint them as a racist misogynistic homophobic white-supremacist Natzi homophobe. If you run your race afraid of the names the media might call you if you do x or y, you’ve already lost. They’re gonna do it anyway, so stick to your guns, fulfill your promises, run your race, and do what you believe is right.

He’ll continue to push the same Nazi tropes as Hitler did because he operates from the same playbook as Hitler does.

Sadly, too many brainwashed rubes in this country who fall for this shite, because they’d rather believe that everyone is responsible the problems in the U.S. than take a look in the mirror.

There are literally people on this forum who were parroting his magical thinking about this thing just miraculously disappearing

Almost NO ONE on this forum thought that we'd be where we are now at the end of June. Everyone was saying this shite would be nothing by the end of May. Yet here we are.

Our economic hit is just as bad if not worse as well

We're completely failing in this regard and we're not just like "other countries"

You're just too blind to see it
