So what’s different today than yesterday regarding the impeachment inquiry?

I’m really dumbfounded about what has changed regarding the house vote today. Explain it to me as if I was in elementary school.

Appears to me nothing has changed, they just formalized the coup attempt and took a big ole shite on the US Constitution.

Maybe I’m wrong, convince me otherwise.

Does the executive branch have to respond to subpoenas from this?

Did they vote for a formal impeachment inquiry?

If there house opens a formal impeachment inquiry, they do get limited subpoena power.

If they just passed done bullshite resolution saying much of nothing, then nothing had changed.

Which is it?

Did the GOP carry out the process in the same manner the dems are now? Did the GOP manufacture a "Whistleblower" complaint like Schiff and the dems have?

You expose yourself as the hack you are a lot.

Some guy on Fox was claiming that, unnoticed in this legislation, is a clause that states if the Executive does not comply with subpeonas it loses representation at the hearings.

Clinton was impeached for perjury during a criminal trial.

But then again, you did last night change to “the whistleblower form doesn’t have any teeth” after you were proven wrong last night.

LINK

Keep in mind that Nadler and Pelosi referred to Clinton’s impeachment as a coup but under these circumstances:

Ken Starr issued a report that had 11 counts on which Clinton was guilty. Clinton committed felonies of perjury.

Fruit of the poisoned tree.

Ignore it.

New rules were established allowing dem lawyers who were not elected to the house to question witnesses for a total of 30 minutes when elected house members will only get 5 minutes.

That's just one of the rules they changed with this vote...

I dunno, do they? Is the Executive Branch being given due process as the result of the vote? Will proceedings be public? Will House Repubs be given the opportunity to cross examine witnesses? Or is Shcitthead going to continue running a closed door investigation? What has changed?

Due process

Back where we started. You guys understand that they are investigating and not adjudicating, right?

So we can expect the investigators to testify to their findings? Fair or no? Or we move the goal post once the “investigation” is complete?

There was a completely bs objection by republicans that there hadn’t been a vote. Now there’s been a vote. It really was an empty “objection,” and that’s why the vote seems meaningless.

“BS / Empty objection”, please explain. Genuinely curious as to your logic

Well nothing has changed my friend. It's Kabuki Theater.

Notice the careful wording of the Title of House Resolution 660

H.Res.660 - Directing certain committees to continue their ongoing investigations as part of the existing House of Representatives inquiry into whether sufficient grounds exist for the House of Representatives to exercise its Constitutional power to impeach Donald John Trump, President of the United States of America, and for other purposes.

Read the Resolution.

Minority (Republicans) cant take a shite without approval of the Majority Chair (Adam Schiff)

The ranking minority member of the Permanent Select Committee
is authorized, with the concurrence of the chair,

This is just an illusion to cover Nancy's wrinkled prune arse by appeasing the left wing of her party....most who only know what they are being told by the MSM. H.Res.660

Idk, did Gingrich and Hyde hold a bunch of closed door depositions before the inquiry was actually formalized, restricting minority access and trying to silence opposing counsel? Did their impeachment resolution fail to gain a single vote from the opposition party? This is a dark day for our country.
