Agreed. However what was presented is what was presented. And it wa better than what we were left with.

Being able to afford food was a good healthcare plan.

And don't forget, McCain represented the people of Arizona, and they overwhelmingly didn’t want the shite Republicans were trying to push through just because Trump said he'd sign anything.

And that is fine. Doesn’t change the fact he went back on his word because trump.

That is indisputable. All of the hindsight is fine. He gave his word and didn’t follow through. Because trump.

The government does not have to, nor is it required to, provide healthcare.

There is a reason the United States leads the world in medical innovation and technological breakthroughs.

Don't care, even if it was true.

Arizona didn't want that garbage, and McCain made it happen.

Outside of the cult, I don't know why anyone would want it.

I don’t think he had one, but saying he had one helped get him elected, so of course that’s what he said.

Hint: Just as the title "Inflation Reduction Act" is a laughable misnomer, so too is "ObamaCare".

We know.

Sometimes you take the lesser of two evils. We are all very aware of your status as being above the fray.

McCain said he would do one thing. He didnt do it. I think that was a less than admirable move. You, being above the Fray. have your opinion. We get it.

Good. At least now you can stop acting like it's an important point to keep repeating.

McCain said he would vote for whatever trash was put forward?

It doesn't seem like it.

I have done no such thing. Your schtick is not anything special. You are smart. You think you’re the smartest person in the room. You aren’t. You will always have the last word because you will stay up later than the rest of us.

McCain said he would vote to repeal Obamacare. That is just a fact. You can play whatever semantic games you want. He went back on his word.

The Netherlands is a tiny arse homogenous population that is FAR healthier (not because of healthcare, because of LIFESTYLE) than we Americans.

What is the population of the Netherlands again?

So you're just repeating it because it's unimportant?

Odd, but OK, I guess.

It's Friday, and there's always tomorrow. I don't care about the last word, but it's weird that you brought it up.

McCain said he would vote to repeal Obamacare.

Sure. And he rejected a soft, partial repeal. That's on Republicans.

He also said he'd represent the people who elected him to office.

I'll just stick to what actually happened instead of your assumptions and tantrums because you didn't get your way.

Trump went public stating that if Congress would send him a bill allowing health insurance across state lines, lower drug prices, and reduce costs, then he would sign it. Congress didn’t send Trump anything, so he moved on to tax reform.
