Crazy they don’t count food and fuel as that is where the largest portion of my take home pay gets spent. I have definitely noticed a difference at the grocery store can’t get out of there for less than $100 and even then it’s only a few days worth of meals

This the CPI has become a government run shell game.

Oh yeah. I shop at Costco and Vons (owned by Albertsons). A lot of our staple items are going up 10% or more. I don't even want to think of what pork is going to be come January around here. Bacon is already $20 - $22 for 3lb club packs. Bone-in pork shoulder is on sale at $2/lb. Chops are a little more. Sausage is $5 for a 1lb chub. Beef has been sky high for awhile now. Ground beef 80/20 blend is $7/lb and chicken drumsticks/thighs are now $2/lb. The 10lb bag of thin cut boneless skinless chicken breast at Costco is $28.

Probably 10% minimum.
Agree....when every expense of the typical American household is added into the inflation equation it's easily 10-15%

Tree fiddy x tree fiddy = min inflation rate. Counting everything not that far from tree fiddy cubed.
