I already said I denounced it, just saying it was peaceful until the leftist showed up? True or false
Edit: reread your statement and it seems you agree, not justifying one side or the other

He wanted illegals out and to back in legally.

He said mean things about Rosie...

Not at all. Trump actually came out and said that there was evil on both sides on same day without directly pointing a finger and stating he wanted to hear the facts first.

Unlike your hero Obarry... who did not do that.

So no, we aren't in agreement.

That's my point. They are both repugnant enough individuals that I have no idea who threw the first punch. Keep in mind that the Nazis and white supremacists brought shields, so they were wanting a fricking fight, and punching Nazis are Antifa's calling card. It's just the second they met, a full out brawl was inevitable.

They're the instigators of this. I do care what they have to say so we can stop this in the future from occurring.

You actually bought that shite? Presidents are the first to know what is going on in situations like these. Either he lied or he needs to surround himself with better staff.

I don't care about Obama. Never liked him. But if that is the bar you wish to place on Trump, then you have some piss poor standards.

Uh, local state issues?

You think the POTUS really is intertwined in these blown up news stories about statues?

The POTUS has bigger issues to deal with. These stories seem huge to you because they plaster them on the news all day.

Define an echo chamber, because there is about a square mile in Chicago that could be an echo chamber, politically and culturally the same, yet is not peaceful at all.

You really don't think the president is given information as it is happening? It happens anytime there is civil unrest. Look at Ferguson, LA riots, civil rights, and any other even that causes massive protests.

The president is kept inside the loop. If Trump truly wasn't, then he has surrounded himself by incompetent idiots..

I'm not sure what you refer to in Chicago. But if only one side showed up to the rally then it would naturally be peaceful. Opposing opinions brought strife...

And if nobody showed up those dumbasses would've walked home wondering where they went wrong in their lives, yet the media and antifa had to play into the game just to feel important for the first time in their lives.

How does caring more about them get them to stop?

I read there were only a couple hundred of these idiots even there. Just ignore them and they continue to whither away into history.

No, I don't think the POTUS is presented immediately with all the facts of every protest that is going on around the country. It would be asinine IMO to think that.

How does caring more why Islamic Terrorists destroy things get them to stop? Maybe understanding their motives is the way to destroy them.

He defended the alt-right today. How did he do that you ask? SUre he called out the alt-right, the bad ones that is. But in the very same breath, he rationalized their behaviors in his attempt to turn the tables by stating "what about the alt-left who came charging", etc? There is ample video of BOTH sides inciting and starting violence. Did you all not see the videos of lefties being attacked with weapons in the parking garage. SUre he said "both sides". BUt he rationalized the behaviors of one side. He should have not rationalized the behaviors of either side. His base loved it.

A 12th grader in a public speaking class could have done a better job. But then again, the base would not have swallowed it whole

Explicitly, nothing. Now if you want to know how we got to where are today. It's a series of things.

He was labeled as a racist initially as a Democratic campaign tactic. That's a right of passage for a Republican candidate.

As for today, he didn't do himself any favors to keep from being labeled as a racist/KKK sympathizer.

The way he went about it went awry. There was certainly wrong doing from two sides on Charlottesville on Saturday. Trump is right to call that out in an effort to condemn the acts of violence that lead to someone dying. But he didn't specify the "other side" that he was talking about. There was another side that was locals, peacefully protesting against fringe lunatics in their town. And then there was Antifa. But Trump presents it as Nazis/KKK vs the other side. "What about the other side that came charging at a permitted protest". He didn't specifically call out Antifa. So the optics come across as him sympathizing with the White Supremicists.
