To fail to override the veto on the gun bill and the tranny bill. What a joke of a state this is. Embarrassing day for Senate President Cortez and House Speaker Schexnayder. fricking clowns! Governor Honor Code is laughing his arse off.

I am thinking the 6 that didn't vote should give their money back.

This was a stupid idea from the get go. Right now high school trannys are not competing in female sports in Louisiana - it's literally not an issue. If this bill passes, the media hypes it up and the Final Four and other events could get pulled from Louisiana. I care more about major events taking place in Louisiana versus passing a bill to outlaw a non-existent issue.

If this ever becomes an issue in the future, the measure will get passed. And I will be all for it.

This session forever empowers the Governor and his successors. Overriding a veto is virtually impossible now.

Not a surprise for a state that voted in a democrat governor.

Yes. The governor is the big winner here. Republicans look like absolute fools. Fools, mainly, for trusting Democrats.

Republicans did get a 2 part win. RINOs in full display, either by absence or by change of votes. And the exposure of the governors placed henchmen, President Cortez and Speaker Schexnayder.

They won't get a dime from me until a change in leadership and we have a conservative Congress.

I think their majority may slip over this. Bigly. Because I don't give a rip and next session will be done on their own grit, if that exists. Hell they'd probably like that better anyway. This activists give a dam has evaporated with the veto session.

If you have the numbers to pass it...you pass it. You don't "wait" until it is an issue. You might not have this opportunity again.

This right here is why the libs are slowly taking over every major institution in America and ruining this country. You’d rather have the final 4 than take a hard stance on the definition of male and female. What a joke.

It is a shell game. They get to say the VOTED for both bills but the Govenor VOTED them We tried to override the VETO but came up a just a few votes short. We need the voters to continue supporting us so we implement our conservative values in Louisiana but we need a bigger republican majority as our VETO proof super majority that the voters put in place was just a few votes host yet again. WHO IS ALL THE VOTERS OF LOUISIANA THAT CONTINUE TO SUPPORT AND VOTE FOR ALL THESE WORTLESS SPINELESS RHINO REPUBLICANS THAT WE PUT IN PLACE IN OFICE IN BATON ROUGE TO DO THE BUISNESS OF THEIR CONSTITUENTS..

It's not a shell game, it's the numbers. Despite your ranting, republicans do NOT have a veto proof majority in the House. They have 68 and you need 70. Shocker, they only came up with 68 votes. One republican voted against it originally and voted against the veto override (Stagni). And one independent voted for it. The Dems and other independents dropped their support.

Getting a Republican governor is the fix.
