The US is plundering???? What country?

None yet. All we know is that the current targets are Greenland, Canada, Panama, and Ukraine. A more appropriate term for it is “strong arm them for very favorable deals”. Plunder was just used in an attempt to be brief.

Oh you mean negotiate in the interest of the US economy, security, stability and citizens.

Negotiate.

Try that word instead.

You an American?

How many of you are comfortable with siding with North Korea, Iran, and Russia? After growing up during the Cold War, this just doesn’t sit right.

Okay. So we are allies with Germany, Italy and Japan. They were our literal enemies. We have only been in conflict with Russian through proxy wars. And they were our ally in WW2. So go ahead and tell us more about this perception that we have crossed a red line.

Except extort isn’t correct.

This is how global negotiations work.

These negotiations offer ROI for all countries agreeable.
Extortion doesn’t work that way.

About 26,000,000 Russians died during WWII. And yeah, they were an ally. Go learn some history.

Most of those Russian deaths are civilian. Estimations for civilian deaths during WWII is around 19,000,000 civilians.

Weird nobody ever talks about how many Russians died during WWII.

China lost 15,000,000-20,000,000 people military and civilian during WWII. From Japanese assaults and famine.

Weird nobody ever talks about how many Chinese died during WWII.

To put it into better context... The US lost around 400,000 during WWII. Germany lost around 5,000,000.

I'm not fanboying for countries here. Just those numbers never get brought up, and that is odd to me. Those two countries alone lost upwards of 46,000,000 people.

Haha. Well in the case of Ukraine, their country is being destroyed. So they’re under duress and wouldn’t feel like it’s agreeable, but necessary to survive.

Yep.

Who are you, McCarthy? Going around questioning citizenship and loyalties…

That’s ironic -

McCarthyism, also known as the Second Red Scare, was the political repression and persecution of left-wing individuals and a campaign spreading fear of communist and Soviet influence on American institutions and of Soviet espionage in the United States during the late 1940s through the 1950s.

Ukraine is Ukraine’s worst enemy.
That little dictator is more responsible than anyone for the situation in Ukraine.

McCarthy knew communism had infiltrated the US in powerful places.
He wasn’t wrong but was demonized and vilified for it.
And here we are today with an enemy engrained in every facet of American life- media, church, military, education, government, hollywood.

Asking if you’re American?
That’s what makes me McCarthy like?
Hmmmmmmm
Your anti American framing of language (you had other choices) raised the question.

Maybe you are on a list.
