So the word "diverse" really means "black" now?

Fox just did a story on Biden's possible VP picks. The banner down at the bottom of the screen throughout the story read "Biden chooses from diverse field for VP pick"

But the women highligted in the story were all black: Kamala Harris, Val Demmings, Susan Rice, Stacy Abrams, Karen Bass, Tammy Duckworth, and Valerie Jarrett.

In other words, the exact oppostie of diverse. In other words, completely uniform; homogeneous.

So has the meaning of "diverse" changed? Does "diverse" now mean "black"? It's okay if it does. After all, we're already living in bizarro world, and I'm accustomed to things with the Left being the exact opposite of what they claim. But words matter, and I do try to keep up.

it's been that way for a while. just look at any article criticizing silicon valley for lack of diversity...when silicon valley is way over-represented by non-black minority groups (primarily various Asian ethnicities). same thing with higher education (where Asians take it on the chin and now have the hardest time getting in)

I listened to a little of a JRE podcast and I heard that in Canada, they're having brown sensitivity training to show how brown people can inadvertently promote white supremacy

Slightly more than that.

Diverse actually means the right-thinking kind of black. The Marxists would not view Tbird, for example, as a diversity hire. Because he doesn’t believe the right things.

It doesn't necessarily mean black it just means non-white.

Plus socialist.

Diversity has incredibly specific requirements.
