But the Senate ultimately decides if the president is removed or not, right?
So with the republicans keeping the senate, that won’t happen? I’m seeing lots of celebrations of “enlightened” libs that impeach is coming.

Impeachment is a house thing. Senate can vote to convict and remove president from office.

Impeachment requires 2/3 of the House vote for Imoeachment. The Dems didn’t pick up that many votes.

"Impeachment" is the House bringing charges, they can do that.
Removal from office is done by the Senate after impeachment, it requires 67 votes and obviously will never happen.
impeachment would be a purely symbolic temper tantrum by the Democrats.

Correct.
But the goal isn't to actually remove him (since the Senate won't go with it). They'll go after impeachment precedings on him just for the sake of a controversy.
Democrats (and the media) want to beat you over the head with a lame duck president who can't accomplish anything, who has impeachment hanging over his head so that by the time 2020 comes around, voters are exhausted and ready for something different.
I guarantee they'll go after impeachment.
