They think the republicans will get the blame for a shutdown because they are still using the old playbook. PDJT rewrote the political playbook and is about the show them fools

Yeah man, it's crazy how those dems could give a shite about citzens. They only care about the ones that don't live here so they can get more voters...it's like Oprah show where "you get some american welfare, and you do, and you and you do as well, we can all get some American welfare"!!!! I mean to hell with the kids and families here that need help, you know the ones we aren't helping now. Lets go spend more money on ones that aren't even citizens...lets give healthcare and schooling to them for free even if we can't take care of what we have already.

They only care about new voters so they can get unlimited and eternal power, that’s it.

Trump got elected on building a Wall. It's a good thing that the Electorate can witness that the Dems serve the interests of Illegals over and above that of the Citizenry. That is essentially what the whole Open Border thing is all about.

Trump should use the SOTU Speech to warn Americans that their Social Security, Medicare, jobs and economic affluence are at risk if the Dems ever regain power via the tidal wave of Immigrant votes. That is the Dems plan...flood America with Immigrants and vote in "fundamental change". Trump should openly state this...because it is a pivotal truth.

SS at risk because of Dems? Lol. Even though it was RRs “loans” he never paid back that actually ruined it? Ya know, to subsidize those tax cuts he gets so much praise for. Who cares about our long term well being, we want votes now!

lol, yeah I’m sure Americans will hear that.

I would hazard to guess that most of the electorate can't name RR from a picture.

I'm not sure how much RR will come into play here.

You might be right. But republicans telling people democrats are a threat to SS is historically speaking, such a joke.

At what cost? I’m going to spend most of my career paying into SS and likely not to get a dime.

Had he simply left it alone it’d be self sustaining and thriving for the next generation.

Both can be true.

I'm not a big fan of social security. I think both parties are POSs for not fixing it and doing something more honest.

My question was "Did tax revenue increase or decrease?" If the answer is "increase"...then how in the name of frick is there a 'cost' associated with THAT?

ugh...money is the MOST fungible thing on earth. The idea that there was once this "box" into which SS funds were deposited and left there while other spending happened outside of it is, and always WAS, a fantasy.
