So. Since a President apparently cannot lean on a foreign govt to investigate a crime

if that crime was committed by someone connected to a political opponents, can any of you whining bitches articulate the mechanism for getting such things looked in to?
Don't tell me DOJ or any agency led by a Trump appointee. THAT would still be labeled Trump.
Pretend for the sake of argument that you are the President and, one of your opponents likely committed illegal or at least grossly unethical activity and a foreign nation and that nation isn't proactively chasing the shite down.
What do you do? Who goes after it?
Have at it.
Hell
I don't even deny that the reasons Trump would ask are political just like the reasons Obama's admin stonewalled the information were political.
But, NO ONE has fricking provided ANY actual mechanism for addressing activity such as this if their argument is that Trump cannot.

Investigations are fine, as long as it’s House Democrats doing the digging on their opponents. If the other side investigates, it’s politically motivated despite all the evidence already out there

It is completely inexplicable we're supposed to look the other way when Hunter Biden is flying on Air Force II with his dad to go while Dad's on the way to meet with the Chinese Government. Son is also on his way to negotiate with the Chinese Government about how a cokehead who got kicked out of the US Military can sit on the Board of Directors of a Bank owned by the Chinese Government and make a bajillion dollars for no reason.
Trump didn't get a secret warrant or listen to Hunter Biden's phone calls without his knowledge. Worst case scenario, after news reports, Trump indicated that admins in both of our prior governments (Ukraine and the US) appeared to be engaged in some shennanigans.
I WANT the President to be able to condition foreign aid on the foreign government complying with American Law, and otherwise living right. I don't think that it's a quid pro quo if Trump conditioned any aid on investigating an actual, identifiable crime. (As contrasted with Trump investigating buying a piece of real estate in Russia. I'm not really sure how that's illegal).
On the other hand, I do not want in any way shape or form having our government conditioning foreign aid on whether it personally benefits any US Government official (which is what Biden appears to have done here). It's so gross.
As a side note, these dipshit Democrats need to pick their foreign powers that Trump is "colluding" with to "get dirt" on his opponents. I thought he was Putin's Puppet. Putin and Ukraine are basically sworn enemies. At what point in their moronic minds did he switch teams.

If he had asked the DOJ to investigate the Left with the media would have gone even more berserk.
Him speaking personally to another countries leader is the least political way to address the situation
If you are not allowed to do what Trump did, then every Avenati type or drug dealer is going to “run for President” to avoid scrutiny

Joe claims he didn't talk with his son about business deals.
Just like Lynch and Clinton were talking about grandkids.....

Anybody who didn’t see this coming was either kidding themselves or didn’t want to see it.
Hillary was actually hedging on this one after she lost: any prosecution of her for wrongdoing would be an exacting of political retribution. She had that one all loaded up and ready to fire.

I'd call the Clintons. They have ways.

So it was just a coincidence Hunter was put on the board for that Ukraine company and paid millions at the same time they were receiving billions in US aid.

The IRS targeting conservative PACs comes to mind, not exactly his admin's best look, in my opinion. Was obama on the phone, allegedly urging someone 8 times to make sure that the audits went through?

They weren't even looking for impropriety. They were just stonewalling them. LOL

The PACs weren't being audited.
But here's the problem with you bringing this one up.
In OUR country, there are TONS of agencies with actual power to address wrongdoing within our borders.
NONE of them have power in the Ukraine.

I dont know what was heard and you dont either. the complaint hasnt been forwarded to congress yet, which is the whole crux of this fake controversy.

You asked if I wanted an answer in which thread. I said wherever you prefer.
Is one forthcoming?

I would've paid good $ to see a reporter follow up that response with "How many grand children does she have?", "How old are they?", "What are their names?".
The look on her face would've been priceless.

there is no issue with me bringing it up rob, other than the issue of you showing your hypocrisy, yet again.
you only care about the truth and authenticity when it disagrees with you. period. go find some more alters to out, it really is what you do best.

Me thinks it's because you can't actually think of one

It's too bad the Ukraine doesn't have RICO.
What's the difference in the Biden situation and when Vito lost his job at the grocery save a few billion dollars.

I dont know what was heard and you dont either.
CNN already released that the “whistleblower” heard 2nd hand that the conversation occurred and had not actually heard the conversation personally.
Like I said in another thread, I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop.

The correct answer is through his DOJ and/or State department. you dont want to hear that though, and have dismissed it as a possiblity.
keep up the good work.
