Paul ryan/mit romney/Jeb rino who will you vote for in 2028? Rand Paul,Jim Jordan or Gaetz will never run for potus. Is your last hope that Don,Jr will? Or just sit out the next few elections

Oddly, there is no other Rep candidate that has even moved the needle....

That is indicative of just how strong TRUMP really is.

I think RdS is a competent DJT...and that ad Trump keeps running for his votes to save SS and Medicare is disgusting. Weird Donald hasn't put out a plan to save them.

Probably need to wait until 2027-28 to make a decision like this.

Jim Jordan would be a great President, but doesn’t have the “it” factor. Will be SOTH one day though

I would support Desantis in 2028...not in 2024.

I want Trump/Biden again.

Jordan is another Chafetz and Gowdy. He will never be POTUS.

He will be on Feaux News soon. He’s just another dog with more bark than bite.

He might write me a strongly worded letter of disagreement to me.

If Trump wins, then I’ll just enjoy that last 4 years of the country before it dies. That may have already happened.

If Trump's name is not on the ballot, I can write it in.

As someone that lives in Florida. If you beleive Desantis is bad for this country just because Trump wants the Republican nod………then you need to give up politics. I want to keep Desantis for Florida. I also do not want to see him ruining his political career by having Trump run him thru the mud to the MAGA folks. Keep in mind I will vote for Trump if he is on the ballot against the Dems. But he is a thin skinned egomaniac that plays his base like a board game for the most part.

Buuut…..

In other words, Trump pretty much sucks and so do the “MAGA folks,” but do vote for him anyway if he’s the Repub on the ballot.

Gee thanks for the contribution of pessimistic and description of a far less than ideal option/scenario that the left itself would argue as reasons NOT to vote for Trump.

No. I actually like most of Trump’s policy (could be much more financially conservative is my only real problem). I just think he is an a-hole personality wise.

.

Sorry I do not mindlessly subscribe to what you think. The problem with the political world imo. No one is willing to dissagree with anything the side they picked says.

But exactly why do you think he is an a-hole personality-wise, in general? What I’ve observed is that he gets salty and in a-hole mode in response to same or similar approaches toward him initially, the majority of the time. Then that gets twisted and manipulated into a narrative wherein he’s that way right out of bed every day, unprovoked. That’s far from the reality of the situation though, in my view.

**And I’m not excoriating you for not thinking the same way I think. It’s just regular old commentary on your post. I agree with the remarks you added in your edit, but also believe they are perhaps misdirected in this particular instance.
