No. I actually like most of Trump’s policy (could be much more financially conservative is my only real problem). I just think he is an a-hole personality wise.

Imagine voting for the president of the united states based on personality.

And, we wonder why we are fricked.

Voted for trump twice. Will vote a third if it’s him. Just to be clear.

Gee thanks for the contribution of pessimistic and description of a far less than ideal option/scenario that the left itself would argue as reasons NOT to vote for Trump.

So you think trashing a conservative that you would still vote for if they win the primary is a bad idea?

They'll obviously be voting for trump since he's going to frick up in 2024 again and no one will learn their lesson.

The worst part is he is hiding behind DeSantis from the NYC DA. He drags desantis through the mud but then he rushes back to florida to hide behind desantis becaue he knows desantis won't let them extradite him. Not only is he an egomaniac, he's a fricking princess.

Baw, you can’t set me up for a trap question. I’m trained and experienced in that art.

What you’ve described is not necessarily what I’m suggesting. I’m saying that perhaps it’s counterproductive to propose that you will vote for a particular candidate if you must, while also asserting that he’s unappealing and repulsive in xyz ways. It’s made into a realistic and potential large scale factor when such a significant number of people are doing the same thing at the same time. That can be an ultimate influence.

Did your training neglect the concept of a rhetorical question?

It's fine if you want to cluck your tongue at someone, but do you think nobody notices the double standard?

As someone that lives in Florida. If you beleive Desantis is bad for this country just because Trump wants the Republican nod………then you need to give up politics.

Can I also give up on politics if you think Trump is bad for the country because people other than DeSantis want him to get the nod?

Was anybody saying DeSantis is next up after/instead of Trump 4 years ago?

maybe someone we don't know about yet

I would be for DeSantis, but if he has to wait until 2028 that would make him a "loser" this time so his current supporters won't support him because I am certain they would be consistent.

He begged the DA not to do a mug shot and not to cuff him and used DeSantis protection as leverage to get it.

Look man if you want to vote for him thats your right. I'm just pointing out you're voting for Princess do

Lol where did you hear that garbage?

If I were Desantis, after seeing what former Trump voters are willing to accept now to oppose him, I’d back out and not want any part of it - if these are the folks I’d be counting on.

And you are under the impression the DA would be doing Trump favors? Well if CNN says it it must be true. They did not need his mugshot that is the only fact. Trump has more pull than your boy Bragg.

Trump is nothing but a pretty princess who needs my boy Desantis to protect him.

RD’s out for 2024. He let a group of self-serving grifters talk him into going way outside of what he truly wanted and planned, and has been shaken back to reality and himself particularly after seeing how flighty and trendy and nasty all too many on the right have been toward Trump - of note, mostly former supporters of his.

He believes that ugly trend will eventually pass and he can devote himself in full to Making America Great Again, or Keeping America Great, as he anticipates. He especially doesn’t want to put his family through the ringer and waste his best efforts right now dealing with unreasonable current “supporters.” Now that’s the wise-beyond-his-years Ron Desantis I myself was anticipating.
