It you’ve been so stupid as to recklessly do damn near everything you can to offend the bread and butter of your own party, then no, it’s not your “traditional” second election season. Under the scenario you and a couple of others are suggesting, any viable chance at success would have required not having been a rotten, divisive punk in that first season. Haley will never come close to winning anything as a Republican ever again.

Haley’s been openly going out of her way to get Democrat votes just to make it seem halfway serious throughout these primaries. I don’t think her voting base, if it can be counted as such, holds much sway.
