Not really. No really pro-life either. I'd never be party to an abortion, but other people having them doesn't overly bother me. If it's going to be legal, I just think it should be reserved for extenuating circumstances. Of course, everyone has a different definition for extenuating circumstances.

Why not? You're financially responsible for it

My question is, what if the mother and father want a baby but the woman is carrying a girl and they want a boy. Is that a good enough reason to have an abortion?

I guess it depends on if the right is crying about the number of welfare queens.

It is, but it would be the end of our relationship. I would also do everything in my power to convince her not to, but it's ultimately her decision.

They will say yes. They will praise the mother for her choice. They will say it is the greatest thing for feminism. When, unfortunately, all around the world, more baby girls are aborted than boys because girls are considered inferior.

If the father is financially responsible for the child, then he damn well should have a say in what happens.

The child wouldn't exist without the father, saying he should have zero say in the decision is comical.

Pretty sure 99.9% of mothers don't just have abortions for such trivial reasons. Having an abortion is a big deal and can be traumatizing.

Oh, I can imagine. Must be so terrible. I wonder how terrible it is for the baby though...

I love when some of you think you have a solid point. Like this one.

quote:

Well, abortion IS all about controlling other people's lives in who gets to live and who has to die.

You don't.

But legally and logically a woman (not father) can kill em for no or any reason! Sex, race, hair color, who cares?

Let this be a lesson, Guys.

You have no choice in whether or not the child you helped produce lives or dies, but should the judge, jury and executioner of said child find compassion and spare the infants life rest assured your arse will pay for it for the next 18 years.

I don't care either way. If this were to happen, I would not know about it.

You'd rather the government decide what they should do with their bodies?
do you think a woman should be able to abort a baby that could live outside the womb. Do you think that passing through a vagina is what magically grants humanity?
