It's a mixed bag.

The first 100 Days+ had so much winning, my head was spinning. It was glorious. Homan/Deportations, DOGE discoveries, knee-bending tariffs, systemic wokeism dismantled, Vance/Rubio star-emergence, Leavitt/Miller press demolitions, downsizing useless staff & departments, etc..

But no arrests from systemic waste/fraud/abuse, no arrests from Epstein/Maxwell files, no bills addressing voter fraud/ballot harvesting, no congressional bills/action like decreasing congressional term limits or permanent limits to SC seats.

All the great stuff so far, in theory, could be erased/undone with a pen-stroke by the next leftist administration.

Pretty awesome, now we need all the RINOs and Democrats to die and we'll be whistling Dixie.

You haven’t seen members of Congress openly embrace communism? Bernie Sanders ring a bell?

Do you think proponents of DEI are concerned about the welfare of minorities or do you think the powers pushing it are more interested in promoting an agenda to “create equality”? Pay equality based on superficial qualifiers as opposed to talents/skills/knowledge over peers is another communism principle

How many now view government as a jobs program that can’t be eliminated or reduced? Large government with a significant segment of the voting populous paid by the government is another stepping stone into communism

Edit: create “equity” - notice equity is now more often used than “equality”? Wonder why the change?

Hit and miss for sure.

-Illegal immigration crackdown is going swimmingly.
-Tariffs didn't cause the sky to fall like some people thought.
-DOGE identified hundreds of billions of dollars in waste.
-Cut USAID funding.

On the other hand...
-Ukraine is a disaster, we're still supporting it, no end in sight. Trump never should have picked it up to begin with.
-Trump said he would have energy and electricity prices cut in half in the first 12 months. We're 6 months in and no change so far.
-He's supporting congress tagging the tax cut bill with a shitload of new spending that we can't afford.
-Bondi, Kash and Bongino look like they're in over their heads. It doesn't look like they will be tackling the institutional corruption that we want fixed.
-No Epstein files. Kash & Bondi contradicting each other publicly. Most recently, Kash said they're going to show us "what they can" of the videos, and that there won't be anything in them.

Right. Income and wealth inequality are essentially the hallmarks of our economy at this point. The idea that we're overrun with communism is the dumbest shite ever. In fact we're so on the opposite side of communism that might be what actually kick starts a collectivist movement.

Bernie has not openly embraced communism. He supports bigger government and taxing the wealthy more. That isn't communism.

To be fair this is one of those things that if you believed it...then shame on you for believing it.

If Dems were really trying to help us we would be doing great. Wish the Dem party nothing but the worse. Communist pieces of shite all of them, yes I said it all of them. Every real Democrat is as shite stain.

What do you think Trump is trying to achieve that would be helpful to all Americans that democrats are preventing from happening?

I don't fault you for thinking dems are pieces of shite but can you be more specific?

The world is too fricked up now. Our country has moved past the point of no return within the last 5 years. Trump is fighting hard but with mixed results. If it were 2017 again, he'd be kicking arse and so would we. But times have changed.

Do you think that has something to do with the tech explosion and as a result the tremendous amount of wealth a relatively few individuals skewing the extreme high end?

Do you think the "poor" today with their cellular phones, smart TVs, computers, etc are in as dire straits as they were back in the 50s?

Expectations of what the government should provide have become unrealistic and unsustainable.

I said it was more openly supported and promoted now more than ever. And 1 political party in particular is pushing harder for "equity", higher minimum wages for unskilled labor, more government provided benefits/services, even bigger government, more control over individual's lives, like forced vaccines.

The "unfair" wealth/income gap illusion is exactly what the supporters of communism take advantage of in motivating the gullible/ignorant segments of the population to turn to communism. And of course they benefit from the naive and blissfully ignorant being unaware or concerned of their growth.

Yeah....but there is only one problem. None of that is communism.

so communism doesn't include larger government, more "equal" income, more government control over individual's lives?

So explain to me Bernie - what does communism entail?

NVM - Too late for more of this discussion

To be clear, we’re not “up”.

The recovery is obviously a good thing but all major markets are still lower than they were at inauguration. Some are close to all the way back but no gains yet.
This is the correct perspective. Are you a trader?

Lol no but I play one on TV

It's crazy people here touting Trump "gains" in the markets when we all have clear objective data that tells you exactly what is and isn't happening, like there's no guesswork involved.

Tells you exactly who's susceptible to really obvious propaganda.
