They’ll begin digging for collusion between Trump and the judge. Actually that’s probably already begun.

He actually pictures Jesus as a middle eastern ninja slicing up Muslim invaders.

You think Mueller would still have credibility if he lost the first trial?

He'd definitely lose a lot of face.

They're going to blame the judge.

Hmm...From what I hear I think he is pretty dang guilty, although it has zero to do with Trump or Russia. On the other hand, if he were acquitted, with the facts that have come out, it would not be a good look for Mueller at all.

. The jury was picked from a county that voted overwhelmingly for Hillary

No they didn't. Barely over 50%. If the jury is acting purely political and the lawyers/judge picked them to a stalemate, it would be very statistically improbable to get all jurors to go for it.

How many jurors are there and how many are required for a verdict? Is it unanimous? It's not civil court.

If PM were a Dem, we'd be screaming for execution TBH. He's a shady arse character regardless of the outcome.

This is fricking selective prosecution regardless of the outcome.

Does the jury vote have to be unanimous for guilty?

I think Manafort is a douche and I hope to the sweet baby Jesus (who I do not believe in) that he skates JUST for the lulz.

For someone who has generally been a relatively level-headed poster, this is some sad arse shite.
