The guy was crazy all in. He bit an Agent’s finger off. There was a scramble for the gun. Shoot first or die.

Is he the same guy that bit the finger off?

I thought that was a different event.

Stop calling this guy a terrorist. He disrupted law enforcement, at worst. He did not commit any acts of terrorism, so stfu on that.

I appreciate you wanting to be precise on this point.

Let’s make sure to be precise on all of them.

The “gun” turning out to be a cell phone is a pretty rough look for you guys. Wonder what your next justification for ICE killing innocent people will be?

What matters is that he purposely resisted detainment with a lot of fire power on him. Colossal frick up indeed

Every single report was that the protester approached with a firearm that was clearly visible to the agents.

Would the presence or absence of gunshot residue on Pretti's hand be evidence of whether or not he fired it?

Given the way they approached him and didn’t attempt to cuff him or give him orders to turn around, and given he was shot because an agent dangerously fired a weapon, I hope this is a crime. We can’t have police doing that shite.

You mean the Minneapolis police refusing to control these idiotic liberals?

We can’t have crazy liberals interrupting these ICE operations without sufficient assistance

How about asking the inbred terrorists to stop rioting?

Yeah if he had the gun, but unless he had two guns that day, that didn’t happen. As we are saying ITT, the agent took the one gun we know about. And nobody has said he had two guns.

The entire episode is a classic fog of war episode. shite happens in seconds and split seconds.

All of which is preventable if you don’t actively go in the streets and try to impede federal agents in their duty.

This was an excellent description of the event - and the slow motion allowed for observing enough interactions to draw some kind of impression about 'intent' and/or 'provocation.'

In my mind, this should not have happened.

However, I will leave it up to regular justice officials to determine if anything illegal or unmotivated occurred.

I am NOT, and do not think I could ever BE convinced, to place criminal intent on any of the federal agents involved.

I am convinced it is a 'fog of war' event - and the 'blame' goes to those creating the 'fog'

ICE has swept through several major cities- deep blue cities this past year. ICE swept these cities under Obama with the same goals and same rules of engagement not that long ago… None of this nonsense is happening anywhere but Minneapolis where state and local leaders are refusing to support federal law enforcement and actively agitating protestors against federal agents.

The left gets fricking played over and over again by Democrat politicians and they never learn.

Probably when they grabbed for it to take it away. Idiot should not have been out there with a gun; cost him his life. No fault but his own.

So - you really want there to be punishment of this officer beyond whatever the realization that he took a life is doing to him.

It sounds like you are demanding perfection - as YOU see it.

AND it sounds like you are on the side of the 'protesters'

100%. If he was ordered to surrender the gun, then instead decided to fight agents and fought them for the gun as they tried to disarm him, he’s almost certainly going to get shot.

I have no problems with him being out there with a gun.

Just don’t be out there with a gun and then push a federal agent.
