Those here under DACA aren't eligible for federal student aid.

No, but there are quite a few who are.

How they going to school then? Answer is scholarships. Crack down on institutions giving them to those without papers or appropriate visas.

What is quite a few?

Of the roughly 700k, how many are in medical school?

Because DACA allows them to go to medical school.

Are they getting federally subsidized loans?

They aren't eligible for federal student aid.

Are they receiving scholarship dollars that could be awarded to Americans?

If they do, as long as they're private scholarships, I have no problem with it. Key word is private.

About 70 right now. Those are the type of people that we want and need. To kick them out while Bessie Sue sits on her arse, breeds every year and contributes nothing is a travesty.

You can't crack down on private schools. Again, private.

OK. Keep those 70, trade them 70 Bessie Sue (nice bigotry by the way). Send ole Bessie to Haiti for "camp".

Quite a few means different things to different people.

As we should.

Oh, I wasn't being a bigot. I have equal disdain for Shaquitaria in the hood popping out a baby every year and sitting on her arse.

Yes.

I don't have the numbers in front of me, but there are kids here under DACA who are in engineering school, studying to become scientists, etc. They're in our military (900+.)

Of course, there are a large number who only have the ability to do menial labor, but there are a ton with more potential than many Americans.

You can't lump them all together. I'm in the boat of giving priority to those who will contribute the most to society rather than a complete shutdown of DACA.

Yeah, DACA kids who are in medical school and will contribute to American society more than the average American should be deported.

In the meantime, Bessie Sue and Cletus in the trailer park are here to stay and siphon our resources. Shaniquathia and Dontaravatius in the hood are free to do the same.

Are the DACA kids here illegally? If so deport them.

If Bessie Sue, Cletus, Shaniquathia, and Dontaravatius commit a crime send them to jail.

We are a nation of laws. Just because some DACA kid is in school and not breaking any other laws, they are breaking A law. Our immigration law. They are here illegally and should be deported.

Absolutely. We don't have a shortage of qualified medical school applicants, we have a shortage of medical school spots.

There are plenty of perfectly qualified Americans of Asian descent that were passed over due to affirmative action to take the spots.

In the meantime, pryen and rameet have been taking English, American history, and American govt classes. Are also on track to become medical students. Have been waiting 5 years going thru immigration. Spent thousands of dollars. Have been questioned, their family and friends checked, etc.

This board, man...

FIFY.

Why do you think some illegal deserves to come here for me school just because his mom drug him across the boarder? Why do you think he should take precedence over those who have waited YEARS and jumped through hoops to come here?

But they did receive our federal, state, and local tax dollars every year from k-12.
They are legally required to K-12 Education
An estimated 725000 illegal aliens students are in K-12 right now at a cost of over 72.5 Billion a year to federal, state, and local governments.

They also were eligible to receive school meal programs, WIC, Head Start, Emergency Medicaid.

There's no use in "rounding them up for processing" as that would be a logistical nightmare, but tell them they have to go or forfeit the ability to apply for citizenship in the future if they are found and processed (and then removed). Remove aid programs for non-citizens and that will dry it up.

No, most of them are legal under the DACA program. Trump's EO only suspended renewals, so unless their waiver has expired they are legal immigrants.

No they aren't. They are in the U.S. illegally. Currently they are receiving "deferred action" on deportation. When that expires we run 'em back across the border. Kinda like herdin' cattle.
