That's not how social security works.
You're effectively paying for previous generations. Future generations then pay for you.
I assume that some welfare recipients will had jobs at some point and when they pay for goods, they pay sales taxes and other forms of taxation. But in terms of federal taxes, I'm sure some welfare recipients will pay some federal taxes at some point when they had jobs.

Local taxes pay for local things.
The Fed tax rate on gas is 18.4 cents per gallon. In small towns and rural areas poor people do pay fed gas taxes.
In small to large cities there is public transportation for poor people who don't have a car. They pay a fraction of the cost to ride, while the makers pay the vast majority of the outlandish cost.
Again, poor people do not pay their way in the Federal system like they do at the local and state levels.

THIS.....Your Medicare isn't free unless you're on Medicaid(Low-Income help). So if you've paid for and are paying for Medicare coverage, that should definitely not fall under the mandate!
