The same board that complains about $10 chicken tenders forbids young people to complain about a ridiculous real estate market requiring $450k entry prices into the market

I'm the only one who has found a $150k home that isn't in a shithole, FWIW

Nope, try again.
They can complain all they like; housing IS bad right now. But if their claims are bullshite don't get mad if someone calls it out.
Housing sucks = true
None of you know what it's like = false

Bruh it had 80s linoleum flooring. Place looked awful

I don’t think people are really arguing number 2. That’s a straw man.

I said it needed updating and likely wasn't worth it, especially because the area had the potential to become a shithole in time, BUT, it's livable in an OK area...and within the city (not a daily trip).
Multiple other people arguing over this mythical $150k starter home where you can raise a family safely have failed to do so.

Variants of #2 also really only come up in response to "go without your Starbucks" irrational bullshite

That's fine, you can think that.

That's false. Someone made that response to me in this topic.

It's implied if not outright claimed every time this topic comes up.

Complaining isn’t going to do anything about it.
Yeah it sucks, but you must find a way to deal with it and that way likely isn’t your first or second choice.
Get creative and persevere. While other complain those that do that will start their journey to where they want to be.

So its a shotehole
You ppl can stop trying to put lipstick on pig with these 150k houses
One search and you can find an apartment for 1000 that any 22yr would rather live in
If you are talking Rogerthefluffler broke at 68 with a new gf and her kids since he left his own then maybe its a good deal

Drop your Netflix/Starbucks/Uber and you’ll have 80k liquid cash in no time and capacity for $2800 monthly payments

I don’t think it’s impossible. I think the current market is signaling pain is coming.
