Nope.
They're black and white.

Very different than "red lines"

How long did Obama blame Bush for everything?!?! I say we should use that for starters.

Apparently that point went right over your head.

Carry on doing what Obama and his fans did as if that makes it okay.

I got the point just fine! Let's hold this President to a different standard just because......he's a Republican. And he's not Obama.

You're suggesting Trump is using early morning tweets to telegraph his plan to bomb Syria in order to get Russian civilians and military members out of harm's way

The Russians have been moving their people out for a couple of days now. I wonder how they knew to move out. The crybaby left is out in full force today. So fricking pathetic. Clowns.

Let's hold this president to the same standard we (you and I) held Obama. That is hard to come by on this board.

You're not wrong in saying much of the media and libs gave Obama a pass. He didn't get a pass here, and neither should Trump. That's all.

Putin publicly said he would shoot our planes down.

This is about the international community seeing who will back up what they say

The tweet was stupid. It accomplished nothing. The fact people are arguing about it here, with no consensus or 'gotcha' that resulted from the tweet is a good sign it was ill advised.

That tweet was not like calling out Obama for tapping his wires. He should have just stayed silent on this issue. Make a decision and then act.

Exactly. Its part of Our Presidents diplomacy. Modern day diplomacy for a modern day president.

What do you mean that it accomplished nothing? It accomplished many things today. It may or may not have accomplished what you would like to have seen, but you are not the POTUS.

How about this: media, left, and right pols all screaming for war. Trump has long been against war in Syria. Trump tweets a "shits getting real" tweet for the public to consume and maybe think "hey, this Syria shite = Russia war shite...maybe not a great idea." Media goes batshit crazy reporting on the madman.

Then he tweets later that bad relations w Russia are fake news driven and can easily be improved. Deescalating w Russia and Russian incentive to deescalate start sounding a lot better to the twitter audience.

Look at the track record of the "idiot" with Norko and w China on trade. Realize that just because you don't get what is going on doesnt make it pointless or stupid

When your enemy says they will shoot down your missiles, it is a fine retort to tell them you can’t try but we have new super duper middles that you can’t stop

The complaint against Obama’s policies was mainly twofold

First he gave a timeline that he would pull troops out
Second he gave the enemy warnings on when we would enter towns and cities

Both of those undermine your ability to wage war and embolden the enemy
