Most of the Splash Mountain merchandise was bought out by thirsty resellers who have been unable to buy and resell the already overpriced made in China stuff to Disney freaks at 10000x the cost.

Song, song of the south
Sweet potato pie and I shut my mouth
Gone, gone with the wind
There ain't nobody looking back again
Cotton on the roadside, cotton in the ditch
We all picked the cotton but we never got rich
Daddy was a veteran, a southern democrat
They oughta get a rich man to vote like that
Sing it
Song, song of the south
Sweet potato pie and I shut my mouth
Gone, gone with the wind
There ain't nobody looking back again
Well somebody told us Wall Street fell
But we were so poor that we couldn't tell
Cotton was short and the weeds were tall
But Mr. Roosevelt's a gonna save us all
Well momma got sick and daddy got down
The county got the farm and they moved to town
Pappa got a job with the TVA
He bought a washing machine and then a Chevrolet
Sing it
Song, song of the south
Sweet potato pie and I shut my mouth
Gone, gone with the wind
There ain't nobody looking back again
Play it
Sing it
Song, song of the south
Sweet potato pie and I shut my mouth
Gone, gone with the wind
There ain't nobody looking back again
Song, song of the south
Gone, gone with the wind
Song, song of the south.
Sweet potato pie and I shut my mouth.
Song, song of the south.
Sweet potato pie and I shut my mouth.
Sing it
Song, song of the south
Sweet potato pie and I shut my mouth
Gone, gone with the wind
There ain't nobody looking back again
Song, song of the south
Sweet potato pie and I shut my mouth
Gone, gone with the wind
There ain't nobody looking back again

Can someone point me to the racist part?

I am so glad I have made it through life so far without being offended all the damn time.

It must be a pain in the arse.

Please explain the racism part to me, it's been many years since I saw this movie. Is it because it has a singing dancing black man. I guess Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn are next. That racist Mark Twain.

He won an Academy Award for that (and died 2 years after its release).

So...the greivance pimps are working to completely eradicate two movies for which black actors "broke the color barrier" and won Oscars (the other is Gone With the Wind)

What makes this ride racist?

Not a damn thing...just a bunch of panty wetters crying over it's ties to "Song of The South" story. That's contrived garbage to begin with as well, the whole thing is bs...

What's ironic, and I mentioned this last year after a trip to Disney, but I was sort of surprised they had the tie-ins because Disney claims to be so woke however I saw several thinly veiled or outright things which could be seen as racial down there. But I know most of you hear Zip a dee do dah at Disney played up a lot and out and about a lot in general...take some time to jump down that "br'er" rabbit hole and see what some of those musical influences are. Look at some of the info on Wikipedia...very interesting stuff for a woke organization to be promoting.

Anything worthwhile about Disney died decades ago. That company and all of its properties could go up in a MOAB strike and the world would be instantly a better place.

The racist parts of the movie is how slavery was portrayed. Uncle Remus was like a happy to be there singing zippidy doo dah being jolly, while being, ya know a slave and all.

Song of the South is pretty fricking racist BUT all of that had to do with the live action/uncle Remus parts of the movie.

Please enlighten all of us how the movie is racist. It’s set during reconstruction and the boy and uncle Remus obviously have a great relationship. Does showing history hurt your feelings?

The Lion King supports toxic masculinity. It also has been canceled.

Funny enough, in the new bbq restaurant Disney opened in Epcot there is a picture of gasp slaves barbequing.

I'm surprised they don't limit the quantity you can buy. It looks like they bought as much as they could humanly carry.
