So a volunteer with the Trump campaign just knocked on my door to do a survey

I’ve been a registered Democrat my entire life and she confirmed my name, prob knew my party affiliation. Asked if I planned to vote for Trump or Biden (Trump). Asked if I planned to vote in person or by mail or absentee ballot (in person). Asked if I was voting early or on Election Day (ED). She was pretty hot, too. No pics.
Maybe doing some late research to see where they need to spend the money?

As someone who’s worked on a campaign before... basically they’re gathering intel so they know how to make sure if you’re voting for trump that you do vote. So if you say you’re voting Election Day, they’ll likely contact you to make sure you’ve voted

They are poll watchers. If you don't go vote by say 5 pm they will call you to remind you to go vote. It is an old political tactic, but I have never heard of anyone going door to door to do it. Usually it is conducted by telephone as part of "polling".

I had a man approach me today in my yard. Asked me the same questions. I told him I was going to vote early and Thai I wouldn’t vote for a democrat for dog catcher. He chuckled and left.
