Ruger Redhawk 8 shot .357. Damnn thing is huge.
Just guessing because haven't fired the Redhawk, maybe the 627 is a little less bulky, but it would only be slightly so.
For Ruger, got the opportunity to fire a vintage Blackhawk .44 Magnum Single-Six.
Quite a first experience. Seemed as though they just barely had enough steel around it to handle that hot slug the way it bucked and vibrated.
But .44 Mag will still be the caliber of choice over here.

I have one of those too. I've only shot it about 4 times.

Just wondering.
Did you have to fire it just with the tip of your finger to avoid even a cracked bone if you wrapped the entire finger around the trigger, because it was definitely the case with this one..
Also, was standing on the side of this particular pistol while it was being fired by someone else and lead peeled off the slug and flew out the side, putting me in the hospital with an eye injury.
Something to be cognizant of for future uses.
A lot is going on when that particular Model goes off.

Yeah, it's not a fun pistol to shoot to me, and it's been several years since I did. I can't remember about the trigger. Hope I really never need that one.

All Major cities in Tennessee are liberal. Also, I realize there is no state income tax. I lived in Tennessee for several years. There are better states to relocate to other than Tennessee.
92 out of the 95 counties in TN voted Red in the last election. The new S&W headquarters is moving to Blount County which is in The Knoxville Metro area. Knoxville voted overwhelmingly Red in the 2020 election and is far from a Liberal city.
Out of the 4 largest metros in the state, Knoxville and Chattanooga were both Red in the last election and by sizeable margins. Nashville and Memphis were the only 2 areas that voted blue. All counties surrounding Davidson and Shelby voted Red by the way. Both of those cities are between 3 and 6 hours away from the new S&W HQ.
You really have no clue what you're talking about.

The timing of the cylinder is off then.

Also Maryville is close to the Knoxville airport.

They shouldn't have made a deal with the devil (Clinton) in the 90s.

At one point they had the Minute Men.
That was a long time ago.

Mrs. Midnight's sidearm. It literally breathes fire.
True story - we were at an indoor range and the owner comes in and asks us to move all the way to the end. We were rattling around the customers and staff being only 3 lanes away from the shop wall.

Massachusetts is not bankrupt and I pay lower taxes in MA than I did in Georgia.

It's a fun gun.
With the choice of stainless steel or the blue with fluted cylinder.
Prefer the fluted cylinder, but stainless steel stands on its own for appearance and long term use.
The Model figures prominently in the Clint Eastwood movie "Blood Work."
One of his better ones.
It carries the nickname the "Bloodwork Revolver."
What appeals about the .357 Mags and .44 Mags is the option to fire .38 Special and .44 Special respectively.
Good for practice and saves on the Mags to be used for extreme situations.

Good choice by Smith $ Wesson. Maryville would be on my list of locals to permanently perch myself if and when I return to the states.

WTH are you talking about? TN is still conservative much unlike Louisiana.
Louisiana is conservative. Just not the politicians that get in office via fraud.

Remember this: Tennessee went Republican when Tennessee's own native son, the Creator of the Internet, ran for president.
Now THAT'S conservative.
Now THAT'S conservative.
