It was a poor word choice. I didn't mean "free" as in no charge. I meant it as free and open. Equal access to all sites.
So you're saying FB and Twitter will be forced to stop banning/shadow banning conservatives?

It's a good thing if you like barriers to competition for big tech companies
The biggest barrier to competition is that they are nearly monopolies that exist because of local governments being inept

Lol who in the frick is the competition. You’re on the wrong side of history here

This makes no sense. You think people are mad about their electric bill under the current system so they want to retain the current system?
Did you think your point through there?

It was the government who created this mess by limiting competition. It won't be the government who fixes it.

No. But it would be nice. Look.. I think that outside of regulation protecting data and access that the internet activities should be entirely unregulated and uncensored.

This probably is a very good thing for the public

It's no accident that all you liberals who have demonstrated blindingly pathetic understanding of economics and business are on the same side of this issue.

Its a problem created by local governments. Its unrealistic sans a federal law/rule that the problem will ever be handled nation wide.
Good government: no city meeting XYZ standard can restrict ABC if it may contribute to a reduction in the competitiveness of an ISP market.
Hope that explains what i want. 1 federal change (more government) for the obliteration of thousands of local government rules.. end result is more competition and the consumer wins.
