It's getting difficult to take Desantanites seriously anymore. Certainly not on this board as they all seem to have gone off the ledge into the TDS abyss

So trump winning is somehow indicative that he’s really losing?

Lmao yall are reaching so far you are psyopping yourselves.

People want things the way it was back in 2019.

It’s not rocket science people. They don’t care abouT mean tweets anymore after their pocket book has been messed with for 3 years

Is this your first time following primaries? Expectations absolutely are important in the first few. It's the first real test to see if they are as strong as people think or if they are weaker. Bill Clinton basically won the nomination in '92 by coming in 2nd Place when he was expected to lose big for instance. He overperformed and got the momentum he needed to go all the way.

in the case that it is very close or Trump loses today.

If somehow Trump loses the Caucus today then I personally will begin preparing myself for the probability that any other GOP candidate (Nikki Haley etc) will lose in November 2024.

Regardless, to those of you reading this post I urge you to get as far away from the suburbs as you're able, especially if you live near Democrat-controlled cities. For those of you who work from home - move to small or medium sized towns.

Get away from the big cities.

Elections have consequences. Stolen elections have catastrophic consequences.

If this race is within 10 points though how many of you will recognize that the polls are a psyop?

Or a lot of DIMs crossed over

But they wouldnt do that now, would they? Because they want Trump as the nominee, amirite? Right? HELLO?

Polls have been of likely Caucus voters not Republicans, they are not quite the same thing. The point is the accuracy of the polls being used as a weapon to impact how the election has gone. If the vote is within 10 points that means that Trump has gotten a free ride he didn't earn.

Normally we talk issues, everyone debates, then we have the primaries and start eliminating people. Trump has not had to do any debates and he has had the media starting every conversation with his opponents talking about how they are losing in the polls.

If you are a Trump supporter you may think that's awesome but realize that this is Trump's last election any way you slice it and that weapon will be used again, you might just not like it so much next time.

So does this mean that it is a done deal Trump wins by 30 points tonight? To the point that any discussion otherwise is TDS?

I’m looking at who has the most motivation and fervent support.

The poll out this morning about the soft MAGA support leads me to believe that there will be an opportunity to flip votes at the caucus sites. Both Ron and Vivek’s precinct captains will be battling it out over soft Trump supporters

There are at least half a dozen reasons I could see the numbers being inaccurate. Some may favor Trump btw.

For instance in parts of rural Iowa you have temps at -10 with wind chills significantly higher and roads that aren't cleared. While Trump generally has done well in rural areas in many parts of the country DeSantis has spent far more time in rural Iowa. So who does that favor? No clue.

Trump showed signs of a late surge in ground game but it is still a fraction of what DeSantis has in place. Haley outspent everyone by a ton and relied on mass texting everyone and paid folks funded by the Kochs and mass advertising.

Trump has definitely stepped up his efforts to use the GOP Est to pressure the hell out of everyone to jump on board or face consequences. Even got Lee and Rubio on board who have been pretty consistent anti Trump folks for a LONG time and they got them to do it on the eve of the Caucus. It was rumored that Paul was going to endorse DeSantis but then came out with the "Never Nikki" movement instead. Cruz has been under immense pressure to endorse Trump but has held out.

I have no clue what the results will be tonight. I am prepared for DeSantis to lose. I am proud to support him as long as he is in the race as he is the best candidate by a mile.

That said if Trump wins I will vote for him but expect disaster from one of many different directions. I will at least know I did what little I could to stop it. I will also hold out hope I am wrong and Trump does 1/10th of what most folks here think he will. Personally I expect Trump to either A)Lose B)Be removed before or after the election for Haley or similar or C)To get in office and be an absolute trainwreck to make the current House look like a well oiled machine.

You should actually try living in the Midwest. You’ll get a dose of reality. Weather is leave your coat at home or check to see if your shovel is under the seat. Wyoming could go for several weeks below zero. I would get tired of that, pull out the grill and a do a couple of steaks. When the neighbors saw me go in with the steaks, the phone would start ringing “ Can I throw a couple on?” “ Gates open, have at it.”

The caucus locations will be full.

I think Ron supporters will be disappointed. This one of if not the state he should do the best . I think Haley has a more solid base as a clear rhino. Desantis playing both sides doesn’t give him a big base .

Real America's Voice reported earlier today that Bootsy and Haley have spent over $100 million in Iowa combined.

Youre so full of shite

Its almost like youre in Jr Hi. All the candidates that have dropped out didnt commission just one poll of their own to verify if the published ones were accurate or not?

Of all the millions of dollars spent this campaign, not one candidate ran am internal poll to gauge where they stood? You dont think the Kpchs or Ken Griffin or Peterfy or Never Back Down ran a single internal poll before they jumped off the sinking DeSantis ship?

I live in South Bend. It's currently -1 out with a -25 wind chill and 10 inches of snow out my door. I think I have a pretty good grasp on the weather in the midwest.

Trump and DeSantis are going to be within 5 points tonight if we consider the ground operation, the weather, and motivation. Both in the 30s probably both 35+. Vivek will surpass Haley and they will combine for 20-25 points.

If I had to guess:

DeSantis: 37%
Trump: 36%
Vivek: 15%
Haley: 10%
Others: 2%
