What Obama did was in no way similar. CNN has been barred from no news events. The white house has no obligation to provide Bolton for an interview.

The trip highlighted how bad CNN has become.

The foreign media behaved mostly professionally. CNN/Acosta acted like spoiled children.

Obama had done this to Fox News this board would have rioted

Fox News had 8 years of Obama’s to act like CNN is, and didn’t. And their ratings increased during his Presidency.

CNN on the other hand?

Fox was respectful and never had their WH reporter yelling or berating foreign leaders. Fox reported Obama faults and was banned.

CNN lies about Trump daily and has the great honor of being one of the elite MSM networks that created the fake news hysteria to usurp a sitting president.

I reckon that Acosta feller hasn't been properly kicked in the balls for the stunts he pulled in Singapore during his Presidents N. Korea/Kim summit.

Obama would have sent the IRS after him.

This is a win for Acosta and CNN.

The interview could have been cancelled with a no comment or scheduling conflict. Giving Acosta/CNN a headline is the wrong response.

Idiots who taunt want attention and reactions. They don't want facts. They don't want business as usual.

CNN could be punished by cancelling the interview and scheduling a different one with Fox/ABC/NBC/CBS in the same time slot and the message would have been delivered more appropriately.

Absolutely not.

I'm digging his singling out of CNN. They absolutely deserve it. One of the few Trump things I like.

I don’t think I agree with that. Trump’s WH doesn’t play the same media rules as past republicans. Publically shutting out a particular network for bias and inaccurate reporting forces CNN to make their own headline, and essentially draw attention to the fact that they are not impartial and their viewers are less informed because of it.

Say what you want about CNN, but even their most uninformed viewers are starting to realize that they are watching more left wing activism than actual news. A lot of them are okay with that, but the CNN brand isn’t considered impartial or even accurate anymore when it comes to domestic politics.

Truth.

Trump has destroyed CNN's credibility and brand. The only people who watch CNN are hardcore lefties who want to be lied to.

Is it their job to act as left wing activists, rarely reporting any facts that aren't spun to bastardize what actually occurred?
