If Stone can remain free while it goes through the appeal process, then hold off on the pardon pending it being overturned on appeal. If not, then Trump should pardon immediately. The lefties are going to whine and mewl about it no matter when Trump does it and it's not like he's going to get the votes of those skyscreamers anyway.

he should tweet the following; "listen, tell Roger that I will have more flexibility after my election."

The appeal is going to have the same outcome.

That is not going to happen if he doesn't take control of the DC US Attorney's office which still has a lot of Mueller's prosecutors running wild there and have it out for Stone.
Hell, I doubt that Barr agrees with a pardon for Stone anyway.
The only correct answer to this mess is is a Pardon for Roger Stone.
All of you afraid of pardoning Stone need to stop being a little chickenshit about it. The people opposed to it hate Trump anyway. Let them howl about it anyway.
I don't think anyone's afraid of Trump pardoning Stone, but the question is asked is now or later. I suggest later to make the optics look a little better.
If Trump pardon's Stone right now after the Judge gave Barr's new team the sentence they asked for then it's not a good look.
Patience is a good thing sometimes. Let's get past the Nevada Caucus and South Carolina primary and see hoe things look. The Dems are eating themselves and let's not take away from that.

I think that one of the reasons Barrett put that Gag Order on Stone is because - regardless of Stone's character - he is lethal with words. If Stone is able to make Trump Rallys, telling how they kicked his door in a put military weaponry in his wife's face...that will be effective.
Stone can rip Barrett and that Jury Foreperson into shreds; and not with slanderous supposition...but with facts.
Trump should get Stone on the campaign trail asap. Let Stone play his 'victim' card against the Dem's 'criminal' card. IMO...Stone wins. Dude is a seasoned politico.

Maybe he should wait and pardon Stone and Avenatti at the same time. The democrats would be so confused they wouldn't know what to say.

Trump doesn't give a shite about optics. He either does something or he doesn't.
And that should apply to Roger Stone as well.
Pardon Roger Stone.
My god, you people are being so yellow bellied about this.

Let me try this again. The OP asked a question. Now or Later? No one is questioning Trump's mettle. This was a board question asking for peoples thoughts and they are sharing them. No need to go "Bernie Bros" just because you disagree. I get it. You want Trump to go nuclear. Some are suggesting a little pause before dropping the hammer.
Lighten up Francis!

And I say to them that it will not make one bit of difference whatsoever.
The people opposed to the pardon hate Trump anyway and were never going to vote for him.

please pardon him today to swing a few more Independent voters to vote against the King of the US. Go ahead and pardon all other wealthy white males too.

Pardon him now. frick waiting.
Congress will continue illegally harassing the potus and those around him regardless of what he does. The msm will continue to scream at him regardless. The voters that will vote for him, will still vote for him regardless of what he does here.
The intelligence agencies will continue to illegally spy on him and leak shite to the media, regardless of what he does.
Stone is a loyal guy who was only pinched because he was caught up in the illegal coupe against a sitting president, orchestrated by our permanent government. Pardon him. Don't force him to wait.

That may very well be true, but even you have to agree it would probably give AG Barr some wiggle room. Right now he's in a tough spot and even Trump said he's not making his job easy.
I don't give a shite what the press thinks about Trump, but Barr is a good and loyal AG that deserves some space to breath.
