For a long time Rickey Jackson was the state of Louisiana's biggest dead beat Dad. He may still be for what its worth. Regardless, by the standard that Gruden was removed from Tampa Bay's Ring of Honor it would certainly seem Jackson's offenses would also warrant the same action. In fact , maybe more since Jackson was jeopardizing the quality of life of innocent young children, while Gruden harmed no one, regardless of how reprehensible his emails were and there was no reason to release those emails except to stir up the race baiters. Both men were honored for their football accomplishments, not personal character and there are quite a few NFL Hall of Fame honorees who were not the most upstanding people.

Dude tried to drive a Corvette under an 18-wheeler. He deserves to be in just for that.

Nope.

Being a HOF player and being a good person are two separate things. And it wasn’t like he killed anyone or raped anyone.

Being a deadbeat dad is shitty but under that standard no football player gets celebrated because most have a ton by several babymommas.

Does this also apply to a Ring of Honor or Hall of Fame coach?

Coach and players should be held to the same standard.

If Tampa tossed Gruden over this, Warren Sapp and others should get tossed for other behavior.

Maybe in football, not in baseball. Some of the all time greats are left out.

What the filth did to Gruden is unacceptable in a free county.

Then again, the Cotton Bowl Hall of Fame recently inducted as one of its newest members, Bill Romanowski.

There are entire YouTube videos on how dirty he was. Here's just one:
