Actually I plan to continue my crusade, which is to strip power away from the central bureaucrats in Washington. You do know where Washington D.C. is....right? Dude while you were back in high school fondling your genitals, I was watching my high school buddies coming back from Viet Nam in body bags. One of my buddies was killed in a Viet Cong Ambush in the Mekong Delta. Another cousin was point man on a patrol. They [Viet Cong] let him pass, then ambushed the patrol. Killed him. They would not open the casket for his parents [and siblings] to view his remains. Now think about this [if you can]...today Viet Nam is an ally against China, and looking to set up economic trade with the United States. All those bodies coming home in body bags...and for nothing. I've long ago given up on the notion that most politicians in Washington are there to serve the people. Absolute power corrupts...absolutely. The problem is the vast mountains of money in Washington. Surely there are good "public servants" in Congress then there are people like Barack Hussein Obama, and miserable assholes like you willing to give him a pass.
Go back to your video games and let "this old man" crusade. Maybe...just maybe some others will finally get enough of the shite in Washington and "crusade" to put some restraints on the abuse of power that is rampant in Washington.
One more thing a-hole....if you get a chance "google" Lt Darryn Andrews. Then take a look at the picture of him holding his little son...or smiling with his wife besides him. Then go back to drinking your beer...a-hole.
At least I tried........
Here this ones for you!

Best of luck to you, man. But like I said, I fear that you're going to have a frustrating few years ahead of you.

If we are ranking scandals, I would say:
(1) Lying to the American Public to take heat off of Congress long enough to pass the ACA;
(2) Press targeting (if we have no free press - we have no free society);
(3) Could be argued #1, 2 or 3 - Use of the IRS to target political enemies (the reason I rank it as third is because one could argue the establishment GOP wants this too);
(4) Benghazi - Overt lies to save an election anyway you cut it;
(5) Nomination of the Wise Latina to the SCOTUS - she has no place even taking a tour, let alone being a justice;
(6) Use of Executive Privilege in Fast and Furious to protect the WH.
That said, I think that there is a decent chance that this Berghdal issue is going to make a run at the top.
You have a known deserter that may have assisted the enemy in killing US soldiers (an offense worthy of execution after court martial) exchanged for 5 known terrorists...you have Obama avoiding a requirement of a law he signed to accomplish this supposedly because there was not enough time....yet, his father knew that it was going to happen a week ago as he let it be known he would be in Washington (or either that is a major coincidence.
If what is being alleged in this Berghdal affair is indeed true, what has taken place is treason, period.

He has no chance of being convicted so why even waste the time? I know this is a horrible belief, but I'm just so sick of these "controversies" with Obama. The guy is untouchable. I seriously think he wouldn't even get impeached and convicted if he killed someone.
The R's will have Congress the rest of his term. Let him sit there and twiddle his thumbs and we can hopefully try to fix this mess in 2016.
Just to add, all the other "scandals" that have happened haven't been near as disturbing to me as this one. Benghazi might have been close, but it has become so political I can't stand it. This was already worrisome when I found out we gave up five high-level guys for one Sergeant. It makes it egregious with all this stuff coming out about this Bergdahl guy.

I'll give you the IRS if you can show me the orders came from within the White House.
The more that rolls along the more it looks like it started with Dems in Congress (which would explain their steadfastness against any special investigation, no one wants to be caught with their hand in the cookie jar), the White House either didn't know or purposely chose not to notice.

Hasn't it been shown that the IRS Director, or sub-agency head, that would have overseen this activity had been to the WH an alarming amount of times just before all of this starting up - when the person was rarely there before or since? I cannot remember his name.
I think the WH knew...and I think there is still more to it than we know and likely ever will know because I think there are some GOP heavyweights involved as well. This is a case of mutually assured destruction IMO.

You really think Sotomayor is a controversy?
She's a bad justice and worse person, but she spent 11 years on the Second Circuit and 6 years as a US district court judge. She was valedictorian of her HS, graduated summa from Princeton and did well at Yale Law.
She sucks, but I don't know how to argue she's not qualified.

If so, it would be recorded as meeting for some other reason and there would be no record of that ever being discussed. Plausible deniability.

In view of the fact that she will be shaping US policy and law for the next 30 years, yes, I do. There are numerous other liberal judges that are more qualified than her across the country...let alone judges in general. In the long run, she and the ACA will have a more adverse effect on this country than anything else Obama has done.

I understand you think she's destructive, I just don't think it is a scandal that she was nominated.

Thanks, M.
And I'm with you re the power thing. Power absolutely corrupts. The Founders were far wiser than many naïve individuals today realize. Sometimes...the hard way...is the only way to learn important things.
