Couldn't agree more. But that just isn't reality, is it? If you want to abolish all gun laws federal state and local, and abolish the ATF and its entire bureaucracy, then we can go by what the Constitution dictates. But if you want to allow the ATF, federal and state legislatures to violate the 2A, which we have, then I think it should be violated for criminal illegals as well.

I agree with you, and to take it more precisely, they would be breaking numerous laws just by having the gun on them; so by default, that would make it illegal for illegals to have a gun. Moot question!
