Should be concerned? Bessent was a partner in Soros Fund Mgmt. Koch Appeasers in DoD.

I mention these as some posters would consider these red flags and render these as bad appointments....
The new SecTreas was a partner in Soros Fund Mgmt - most recently 2011-2015. Donated to Gore, Obama and Clintons before supporting Trump. Maybe he hitches his cart to the strongest horse?

I wouldn't necessarily trust Druckenmiller either. He's the guy that brought the idea of shorting entire economies to Soros. Soros just told all of them that if they were that sure of their assessment that they should go all in.
Personally have no problem with Bessent in this role. Just pointing out Trumpkin hypocrisy. If Soros is akin to Satan's spawn then his proteges are not much better. Hell Bessent did not just short the pound, he returned in 2011-2015 to Soros to short the yen and made Soros even more money to bankroll his agenda.
