Antifa is surging to that area and one of their crazies will definitely go rogue. Then the window of discretion before bringing lethal force into the engagement dynamic will close. Agents could not know whether they are being confronted by a Karen or a trained insurgent.

let me help you understand something jethro this is how we should have been treating these idiots from the get go, going back to the summer of floyd.

It's a really interesting question. The reasonable fear for his own life will exonerate him from any murder conviction. Of course, he won't be charged by the Feds.
But, now that his identity is known, Minnesota MIGHT try to charge him. The threshold issue is whether he has qualified immunity. The fact that he deviated from DHS policy MIGHT give him some problems. (See Chauvin, who, ironically WAS following policy.)
Also, Minnesota has lots of different homicide charges....

The video doesn't add anything we don't already know. He was hit by the car but not runover. She was trying to flee, but she still hit him with her car to do it.
Notice he doesn't pull his gun until her tires spin on the road towards him. That means he perceived a lethal threat at that moment. So he had no intention of using his gun until she drove towards him. If he had already had his gun pulled, aiming at her, there might be an argument that he was just looking to shoot her, but that isn't what happened.

Here is where you’re wrong. The act of accelerating toward the officer was attempted murder of a police officer. His leaping out of the way does not neutralize the threat.

Is "hit" the same as "run over?" And, again not that facts matter to you, but he wasn't struck by a vehicle before, his arm was pinned inside it and he was dragged 100 yards.

...and it's not going to matter. She was already detained and attempting to attack a law enforcement agent while fleeing.
Once again, I'll repeat it, the biggest loss in all of this are the two vehicles she plowed into and totaled while breaking the law. I hope the owners of those vehicles sue her family's arse off.

It would be useful to know even more. What the frick was ICE even doing? What the frick was her problem? Why were they grabbing her door? Legally he might get off for obvious reasons, but I think he fricked up and knows it. He was out of the way and shooting her did not affect her path.
