Is there not an office depot in BR? Were these the only envelopes in the city. I guess nobody could run out and pickup 3 boxes to get the information out.
Christ I thought Walt Maddox was bad. But at least we dont run out of envelopes.

Yes. It’s outrageous
For not notifying the residents in a timely fashion that should be the financial burden of the Broome administration.

Unfortunately, she along with a number of mayors and council(persons) are guilty of sheer incompetence across the state. Our elected have done business like this since time immemorial and is not going to change in our lifetime.
My wife and I constantly ask each other why we still live here, but the hard truth is, we ain't goin' anywhere.
We're getting old and the mentality of us and many Louisianians is that, "Daddy and Mamma is buried here and we ain't leaving them behind."
If we could box up that whole bunch in the capitol and bus them over to Austin to see how they are running a state, we might be much better off.

She’s already been re-elected.
I'm pretty sure the term limits are 3 consecutive terms so she would have one more possibly. Didn't Kip run 3 straight times?

While I agree she owns some of the responsibility for letting her permit office give out permits so does FEMA for not demanding it and the home owners for not doing their own research!
This rule was in effect WAY before the 2016 flood but people were are either didnt care, were to lazy, dumb, uneducated, to trusting of elected officials, or all of the above.
All they had to do was go to FEMA site and read if for themselves it is written very plainly to see.

Is she black? I only ask because criticizing a black woman is always completely Racist and only something that a White Supremacist would do.
