It is evidence in an ongoing criminal matter. Depape’s lawyers will see it. If it helps his case, they will use it. If it helps the prosecution, THEY will use it.
If they've all seen it, then there is no potential prejudice in letting the public at large see it. None. No reason not to release it unless Paul or his attacker/paramour is sputing national secrets while getting corn holed. Or they just don't want the public to see it because it runs adverse to some agenda....

The new republican-led congress should starta jan6th style "investigative" committee and subpoena the tapes. And subpoena Paul Pelosi, and Depape to appear before a prime time session.
