Don't you drink? Want to know which drug harms every single organ in the body, including the brain?

I'm operating under the assumption that this will be a leaner, meaner DARE

Maybe that's a bad assumption

When it involves the government, it's probably one of the worst assumptions.

Odd that I guy I know, a democrat, started it. Sessions is playing Nancy Reagan, Barbara Bush games. "Just Say No", "Just Spell No".

That is not what DARE does. It provides education to deter future abuse.

There's a lot of stupidity in this thread.

I know. I was responding to this:

since when is breaking the law an individual liberty?
I even quoted it.

And not reading the quote in a post that is the basis for a response is not going to help that problem.

Besides liberty, as a principle, isn't bound to legal (often arbitrary) designations the government decides.

Well then get your fricking politicians to change the fricking laws instead of picking and choosing which laws are good or bad.

The drug people are exactly like the illegal alien advocates.

Why don't y'all march and break shite?

I'm all for freedom & small govt, but I don't mind throwing a few public dollars at discouraging drug abuse, as long as:

1) it's just a few bucks, and
2) it's proven to be effective
So you're against DARE then...

Of all the things to get worked up over you choose to do so over a fricking DARE program?

Are we not allowed to have an opinion on what laws are counter to the idea of liberty?

We were discussing liberty. Is it not a major principles of your's.

I don't want to; I don't think it would he effective; Breaking other's property is counter to the principles I'm advocating for; and I wouldn't want to see poor gthog61 get outraged over people breaking stuff.

I did and weed is now decriminalized in Houston. This is state and city battle as far as I am concerned. The Feds should get the frick out of it all together.

Drug addiction is a medical problem, not a criminal problem. This bullshite didn't work before, why think it will work now?

Sessions is Trump's weakest appointment, IMO.
