Well what do ya know. She knows her seat is in jeopardy in two years. I think Sarah Palin should still run against her. Her BFF Colins is probably done come Nov. 3 and is trying to save face. Trump already told her to frick off and he ain’t endorsing her anyway

I think the flare up with Trump after she said she would vote no, was to help her re-election. Maine is Blue and hates Trump so if she shows independence and votes no, it might help her. I think Trump played the bad guy to help.

No chance that "moderate" does anything an actual moderate would do.

No - Doug Jones (AL) will vote no or not at all.
No worries, on Nov 3rd he will go away - Tuberville will crush him.

You were one of few then. Just goes to show ya.....most everyone doesn't know what the hell's going on. FNC had her as a solid no vote for Barrett (whether it be by "no" or by abstention), as did basically everyone else. And it appears we missed a rather overt key in Murkowski's stated position:

She only said she didn't think they ought to be doing the confirmation before the election.....and that in no way suggests whether she would or wouldn't actually vote, or whether it would be a yes or a no. She retains her opinion yet still will vote in the confirmation. Apparently a "yes".

They already have the votes. She’s grandstanding

Exactly. She's voting yes to try to save her reelection.

Collins will probably fall in line, too.

she is the king of bitching and moaning about something only to fall in line and vote the right way. Never doubted that would happen here

Good call. I had and still have a hard time believing any Republican will not be voting yes. Primary reason being that Barrett did so very well and was so composed during the process, and exhibited such a qualified level of knowledge, it's just impossible for any Republican to justify not voting yes to their constituents. It just went too damn well for that. Thankfully.

Collins will probably end up being a yes as well.

But the guy has advanced the courts very, very heavily in favor of conservative ideology. I wouldn't trust the guy to walk my dog, but he has proven that he is fully trustworthy when it comes to higher courts and appellate courts.

Murkowski and Collins have both been polling their constituents and will do whatever makes sense for their campaign.

Honestly, that is how it should be. They represent those people, and they should vote how their constituents want them to, not how whatever party they are in wants them to.
