DC just does not want to give up that power it has over the people. The SAVE Act will cause definite winners with very clear margins of victory to have to answer to the people as opposed to the lobby.
I wish lobbying could be completely stopped.

I just do not understand how people can be so hung up on what a New York or California politician can do to them if they vote for the people.

If any Democrat, Fetterman excluded, votes in favor, it means they are in a purple state and are being allowed to vote for something that they know will ultimately fail a final passage. A tale as old as time.

Senate Majority Leader can not get a bill the American people want passed the votes needed to pass it.
