Well, hopefully Kentucky won't frick around and actually elect a senator that won't be an enemy of the state after he's gone.

It’s like you have to pry these guys out of office.
Why can’t they just retire rich and ride off into the sunset?

These fricks staying in office until they die is ridiculous.
Because they do not require any sort of actual work.
Do you know anyone that has worked on capitol hill around these people?
They spend their entire day talking. They have a 2 hour lunch sponsored by lobyists, talk some more in the afternoon, do a few radio or TV spots, then attend another lobbyist sponsored dinner.
They dont pay for travel, entertainment, or even most vacations.
They basically retire the day they take office.

One of the replies said…
“ We keep electing people that should be eating oatmeal and yelling at the TV... this is going to be the norm soon.”

Nah, PA has shown a Senator doesn’t need a functioning brain.

Another hilarious reply….
“Is anyone else wondering who is currently running this place?”

And Delaware has shown the same for the President.

Talk about having one foot in the grave and another foot almost there.
He finished his life's work in stacking the Supreme Court, and there's nothing more that motivates him to live. It's like seeing an elderly sea turtle put out to pasture.
