Did he get threatened? Reprimanded? Attacked?

JAG is flat out wrong. When your donations page goes to ActBlue, you are a political organization.

Nope. Because the people giving the training and 95% of the people in the room agree even if they can't say it publicly. The O5 giving the instruction was just like uhhh well it's for all extremism and then went to the next slide.
Then someone asked him to define extremism and it went off the rails again. After about an hour they were just like hey good discussion see you all tomorrow.

To counteract the BLM Inc. is not an extremist group narrative, just ask if, "abolishing the nuclear family" is an extremist view.

Probably not the right answer but I didn't say shite. I have no Facebook, Twitter, IG, and I take no stance on anything just want to work hard take care of my team and get to 20.

That's how all these GOs got caught up in this bullshite. Miltwitter was like if you don't speak up you're part of the problem and they panicked.
They forgot only like 2% of the Army is on Twitter.

Here's a story you might find interesting.
A former GO in the DA G1 office was my Brigade Commander when I was in recruiting (Jim Iacocca). He was the first USAREC Brigade Commander with no previous USAREC command experience (Company or Battalion).
Anyway, he paradoxically would pitch voter registration while simultaneously telling us that, in the interest of ensuring that he remain apolitical, he refused to vote for anyone running for national office (President, House, Senate) because he had a fundamental problem with "choosing his boss".
When Army Twitter accounts were first coming out, he flat out refused to allow any official social media accounts for any of our units because he felt any good that would come from them was far outweighed by the potential damage that could be done.

There's zero to gain for any senior leader being on Twitter.
Unfortunately the egos prevent them from staying off it.

The country would gain a lot by have these fricking nutjobs identify themselves but most don't know this guy's name or who he is.

Thank you for your service. You sir are a true American. What the frick is the point? Does any of that have to do with the fact that we have ho chi minh and Oprah's love child as our sec of defense? This administration is killing our country.

This is actually the big issue for the military.
It certainly hasn't been focused on cogent policy. It hasn't been focused on winning anything. It hasn't been focused on developing honorable, courageous leaders.
No, for a long time now, the military has been focused on finding its sweet spot between the oligarchs in the defense and big tech industries and the permanent government administrative class that collaborates with and takes its cues from the corporate oligarchs.
That's why the segment of the military population that's been so critical to enabling endless ground and air wars all over the globe for decades and decades is easily tossed out the window without a second thought.
A decorated veteran of the Afghanistan invasion is now called a domestic terrorist by his son's chain of command who will send him to Afghanistan.
