I don't know that anyone is alleging any kind of sinister intent. It's notable all the same.

Homeboy recusing after 37 days on the federal bench is curious, however.

I still wish the internal rules would require the judges to disclose the basis for refusal. Doesn’t have to be super detailed, but the public needs to know why they’re recusing.
