“The giddiness among Trumpsters over the Smollett news is gross. This story is awful. He allegedly abused police resources, exploited raw divisions in this country, and made it harder for every victim of a hate crime to report. This is sad no matter your politics.”

He blamed Trump supporters and the Media jumped all over it. Hopefully this teaches the media a valuable lesson, but it won’t.

We're not "giddy" because Jussie pulled this shite, we're "giddy" because we (and everyone with a functioning brain) knew it was bullshite from the start. Unlike you and your compadres in the press/hollyweird that took the entire story as the truth. When you started labeling half the country as monsters without even a hint of supporting facts you set yourselves up for this. Don't blame us for your stupidity. Do better next time.
